To be honest, I think Xavier could be extremely popular online with just a simple Deathmatch multiplayer mode or something of the like. Realistic effects in a Deathmatch would be very interesting. If fans can develop their own maps and arenas and have a couple different competing options (such as capture the flag or team deathmatch), the game would have much success online I think.
Yes, I believe this to be true, also. But I was thinking about a Chaos mode where 8-12 players (Mercenaries) get into a "room", walk around, blowing everything up or doing whatever they choose, while a civilian or another Mercenary (one of the 12 players) is filming it all on an in-game camcorder. People could make documentary type films of bank robberies, terroristic attacks, suicides, car crashes or highway shootouts/pile ups, courtyard standoff's between the Mercs and the Cops, all without the use of 3rd party programs. What are your thoughts on that?

Wow, I never thought of that! That is quite innovative. I give that idea a thumbs up!
However I'm a little confused - Do you mean that people can make animated re-inactments so to speak, or would the filming be part of the actual game?

The filming would be part of the mode. It will be like you were there when that certain situation happened. It's like you were a civilian in a bank and a bunch of guys stormed in and you happened to be there with a camera. It's entirely up to you if you want to reenact something or do something totally impromptu.

Ok that makes more sense, and I like that idea. I'm sure you'd be able to save the videos for later viewing pleasure, correct? Because that would be entertaining to watch it all over again.
I think that what you just explained in your post a little farther up could hold some interesting value, as well as upping the replay value as well.
1. Bank Robberies - very fun for teams perhaps (Cops vs. Robbers?)
2. Terroristic Attacks - coordinated team objectives
3. Suicide Missions - a little confused with this one
4. Standoffs - team versus team
5. Shootouts - Multiple teams
6. Highway Conflicts - vehicles + multiplayer + carnage = glory

Ahh you have explained it so well. Highway conflicts would certainly be my favorite; multiple cars speeding down a lightly congested highway while being chased and shot at by other Merc's or Cops. All the smoke and debris flying everywhere when a car spins out of control and flips about in the air (see Matrix: Reloaded and Final Destination 2's highway scenes for some examples), and while the passengers are flung out the vehicle, someone will be recording the whole scene. The will certainly be something to talk about.
But as for the Suicide, imagine you are a just another average joe walking on the sidewalk beside a skyscraper, and then a body falls from above into a bloody mess before you. Or you can be a civilian with the camera who jumps off the building. This is for the sadistic people out there.

Yes, but in the coolest way possible or the most brutal. Like do a back flip or barrel role off of a tall building. Or throw yourself out into traffic. If you happen to get a great shot, you can save your video and put it up for download or view in the community. You can access multiplayer through Michael's mind or the in-game computer.

Hey I have an idea for a suicide multiplayer mode.
Putting everone in a open Washington Sandbox area, not to big.
But with creative things everywhere.
And, each players randomley get a item.
A lighter*hhehe*, A set of car keys and a beeper*have to find the car by noise*,a knife, gun, plastic bag, a ladder etc.
And each of the 12 players, with the random item. Has 5 minutes to kill themselves, and they have a "record" option that lasts 20 seconds.
After the 5 minutes are up, each player should have a 20 second suicide video of whatever they came up with.
And whoever's was most funny/evil wins.
Just a fun thought XD

EDIT
if any of this came off as wierd and disturbing
I am so sorry lol
I'm a pretty normal guy I swear lol.
Just an idea!

I like this idea. I will probably use some of this. Maybe it should be based on a points system, like Burnout's Crash Junction's.

Yes it could. I would like the Death Scenes to be a feature that will have a lot of people talking.
Oh I think that is a given. Death Scenes are something new. I've never heard about anything like them. I would play the game just to die and watch myself. Haha

I would do the same thing. Might I add, if you are hit hard enough, you will have flashbacks and there is a chance of an out of body experience.

That is utterly insane. In a totally positive way! You need to get this game out ASAP. I need it. My joystick fingers are twitching...
I need it, too. I've been wanting this game to become a reality for a while now. But thanks for the feedback. You're my first fan!
Might I reveal that Michael (aka. Ex, Xavier, Mike, Jekyl, Reaper, Grim) will go through a series of transformations in the main storyline. His first takes his normalcy away from him, but gives him a few extraordinary "talents". This takes place after his lengthy coma.

Both! A horrible inferno from a particular character left him with close to no appendages. This means he will get some shiny new metallic features, very very strong arms and legs. This inferno was no regular flame, it leaves you with a supernatural ability. Isabel is no ordinary person.

Nope. Just me. It's all written in my Comp Books. 200 pages each, documented and dated.
I like this idea. I will probably use some of this. Maybe it should be based on a points system, like Burnout's Crash Junction's.
If you think about it, it could spawn some pretty bad-ass inventions and death scenes.
Oh by all means go ahead.
Just make a name up for me in the "Special Thanks" section in the credits.
Somehow, I'll feel it, and I'll know. XD
