My tragic tale, I wont prolong,
Rickety-tickety-tin,
My tragic tale I won't prolong,
And if you do not enjoy the song,
Youve yourselves to blame if its too long,
You should never have let me begin, begin,
You should never have let me begin.

I played a game like diablo called Throne of Darkness. It was Japanese. And Instead of one character you got to have a team of 4. You could change them from 8 different characters in the dojo. It was a cool game, I liked it. A cool feature was you could put demon heads in you socketed item.
throne of darkness, yes thats the one i was thinking of

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
can also try Loki. Its the one game that i've played that managed to capture the feeling of Diablo gameplay wise. Especially while playing the mage, it felt just like it.
What I do like though is the fact that me and Winston are gonna have swords. Yup, swords. No need for a Diablo game, we'll just hone our skills in real life.

but since i own a set of 3 katanas i occasionally get them out and practice my ganryu fighting style. ganryu is the fighting style that implores the use of two swords, one longer than the other.

of all the "Diablo-like" games i've played (Nox, Dungeon Siege, Darkstone, Titan Quest, Loki) i mostly liked Loki (especially playing the mage). Random generated maps and good loots gave me the same feeling i had while i was mf'ing Mephisto to get uniques/sets.
PS. Jarhead, i kinda missed the forum too but i had (and still have) very little time to play/chat. New job and friends kinda need time!
I think it is. Instead of 2 weapon slots (as in diablo) you have up to 5 or 6 (its been awhile), you can socket items and remove one of the items in the sockets if you didn't like the effects (ie if have a 3 socket item - you place items in it if you didn't like the outcome you get 1 of your socket items back and can redo the item). You can buy mounts to ride - although I didn't care much for them. There are many more quests and side quests and the big baddies are all dragons for the most part. I think it is a little easier than diablo though.

Anyway, I prefer using 1 longer sword, but I'm trying using two. Actually, swords, no. Sticks, yes.
