"Zis is turning into a grand adventure, is it not Sir Karl?" Heinrich Hohenhiem asked.
"Indeed it is my young squire." Said Sir Karl Sturmgard. "To zink a mage of such immense power existed in zis vorld. Zis blade has slain countless creatures of evil, yet it vas unable to even hurt ze mage. Ve must find a way to defeat him, such evil cannot be permitted to live!"

"Ahh, you holy dungs are starting to give me a headache. All this take about vanishing evil is starting to make me want to go and punch kittens. Why can't we just go to hyrule and find a nice and quiet place were we can just sit back and drink ale all day. We don't have to worry about this mage because sooner or later the Cowled Wizards will destroy this pest for us."
"I am a Paladin, und as such I am svorn to valor, my heart knows only virtue, my blade defends ze helpless, my might upholds ze veak, my vord speaks only truz, my wraz undoes ze vicked!" Sir Karl proclaimed "Und I can zink of nozing more evil zan a mage vich sacrifices dvarves!"

"We do not know if he is one of them. It is a game of chance, hope the path takes you to the right places instead of straight to death, for hope is what we have." Phasys said knowingly.
After a moment of silence, Phasys inquired: "How long is it until we reach Hyrule, or any city? I can easily get provisions for you with my... ah... skills."

Oh no. More walking Winston thought to himself. "Walk, walk, walk, that's all we ever do" Winston muttered. He then began daydreaming about sitting down and resting, for the rest of his life. Ahh the bliss Winston thought, I can't wait to be an old man.
"In truz, I am not zat familiar viz Hyrule's geography, A large lake to ze souz vest, volcanic mountains to ze norz, an inhospitable desert to ze vest, und a large market town, roughly central, is about all I know." Sir Karl said as he stroked his chin, trying to recall what he knew about Hyrule. "It shouldn't be much longer zan two day's journey from here, zat is if zere is no delays along ze vay, thieves und brigands, often prey on travellers on ze highvays."
"If any stand in our vay, ve shall slay zem, for we must not fail in our quest" Heinrich piped up.
"If we must fight, then fight we shall" Baeithra said. "While I do not quite share your battle lust, I will not shy away from a fight, Though I do tire of all this walking, how much longer do you intend to crack the whip upon my back, I demand we rest!"
"You are right, ve need rest, ze spirit is villing, but ze body tires." Sir Karl replied "Ve shall rest here for a short vhile, to regain our strengz und clear our minds, so zat ve are ready for vatever Hyrule has in store for us"

"Do not worry about thieves. This is one benefit I can give you during this trip, I can speak to them to leave us, and if they do not listen, I can steal back what is ours and more! I cannot wait to see the markets, there will be many opporotunities there." Phasys said with a large smile on his face.

"I am a young thief, but I have been trained by masters. I cannot give you names, for that would be breaking The Code. Tell the names of these masters to any other thief, then you will be regarded as a friend. There are some thiefs who blunder into homes and demand money, those are amateurs with no training. As they say... 'If a thief is ever caught, he is not a thief.'" Phasys explained to Baeithra. "Of course, there are those who abuse their training and go rogue, but they are rare..."

lady delana follows just out of view behind. its not that she did not want them to know that she wa goin to hyrule its just that she was not in the mood to chat while she walked...she was often in her own head thinking and this was one of those times
As the group continued along the narrow dirt road, it soon widened, and the landscape became more and more desert-like.
"Hmm it looks like ve vill haf to cross ze desert on ze morrow, we had best get some rest" Sir Karl said to the group. "Ve shall not get very far once zat sun gets up above us, ve vill need our vits about us, ze desert plays many a trick on ze eyes."

"Oh and I thought that the constant walking couldn't get any worse" thought Winston. "Now we have to walk hours on end, over the same looking ground, where we have bad grip and we're going to be boiling hot". "Why did I join this?"
"Yes I suppose ve did get ze short end of ze stick." Sir Karl said to Winston. "I vonder if ze ozers groups haf are fairing any better?"
"Yes I vas vondering about zat too." Heinrich said. "Zough, I vill relish ze chance to see ze kingdom of Hyrule."

"Ha, saying we got the short end of the stick is an understatement. Just look at this merciful crap." Said Coulin looking ahead at the terrain which lies ahead. " The only thing stopping me from turning around is my urge to get ahold of some books with history on the Triforce and other great Hyrule's secrets.
"We must find a place to rest. It will be dangerous at night and we need to build a strong shelter with a few good reinforcements." said Phasys.
"Yes, perhaps ve need a shelter for ze night..." replied Sir Karl.
The group went about building a shelter. Winston was not allowed to be a lookout simply for the fact that he would become bored and unreliable. Sir Karl cast a spell that magnified and enlarged the horizon with not one little blur.
"Do not vorry, it only looks like zat, it is still its regular size. Ve can see better. No lookout is needed." explained Sir Karl.
The whole group started building a tent and a few small trenches around it with a few battered fences. So far, all was going well.

"Why can't I be our lookout?"Winston piped up. "I have eyes just like you guys!"
A general chorus of "Go to bed Winston" was the reply to Winston's outcry.
Winston then proceeded to sulk, for he was very hurt about not being able to lookout. He walked off by himself for awhile because he could not go to sleep, for the hurt from his friends was too great. As, he came back to the camp, he tripped and hit his head on a protruding rock. Sending him off to sleep much easier if it hadn't happened.
Lady Delana Drifted Off quickly on the trunk of a fair sized tree. Her Echanted armor took ahold of the tree and held a sturdy grip to help keep her balance while she slept. She usually hated Sleep due to the images she often saw in her dreams but tonight would be differnt. She Fell asleep After a quick Prayor and drifted off to dreams of The good days when she was younger. She heard Winston Approach and Thought nothing of it. The Boy though Good hearted was very unskilled in the hardships of life. He would Learn. Hell She was still learning'
"Today ve cross ze desert, anyzing you can care lose see zat it ist lost, ve travel lightly und quickly. Sir Karl said to the group.
"Ha zis vill be just like ze time ve cross ze great desert of Araby, und fought ze Tuareg Bandits." Heinrich piped up.
"Yes it vill, zough Imagine we vill not be under constant barrage zis time." Sir Karl said as he sharpened his sword with a grindstone. "Damn zose bandits and zere stole catapults!"
"But ve killed zem all in ze end" Heinrich replied as he reached into his pack and pulled out a large cloth with he then tied around his neck to use as a mask, should the desert sands kick up, Sir Karl did likewise.

The winds battered and pelted the travellers with sand and dust. Barely able to see the stumbled across the hard stones of a building.
"If zis is anozer ruined temple, I am going to be really angry!" Sir Karl said in an aggitated tone.
The dust cleared a little and they now stood before a great fortress.
"Anozer abandoned fort, bloody deserts!" Sir Karl said.
"Halt, You there, what are you doing here?" a voice called out.
The group looked around but could not see anyone. Their eyes moved up to the battlements on top of the wall.
"Who dares to enter the Gerudo desert!! speak or I shall have you executed for tresspassing!" A woman called out.
"I am Sir Karl, zese are my comrades, ve seek safe passage to ze mountain regions of Hyrule." Sir Karl said.
"I care not, remove their weapons and lock them in the dungeons." The woman called out. and several guards seemingly out of nowhere descended upon the group.
"Unless you plan of fighting us all, I would suggest you go quitely. Our numbers are many, you will be overwhelmed, and don't go try to use any spells, this place has a enchantment blocking the use of spells." The woman said.
"To die locked in a cage like an circus animal, so zis is how ze tale of Sir Karl ends, damn women." Sir Karl said with a large sigh.

Phasys could not lose control, he would not go into shock, he could fix this. He scanned the room and found nothing but a window, too high up to reach. If he could climb the wall, he could escape through the dented bars of the indow. He was a slender and agile figure, maybe he could actually pull it off. What are the consequences? Slavery? Death? It didn't hurt to try, he would die in this cell eventually. Life should be lived. Phasys called out:
"Guard, I'm hungry!" Seeing as there was no response, there was probably no one guarding his cell. He couldn't break out, he was skinny and weak. They are unbelievably wrong. Phasys backed up, rank, jumped, and made a pathetic scramble up the wall. He lost his balance and fell on his back. I need a better approach. Think! Phasys looked at the wooden bed and wondered if he could find the strength to move it. He went up to the bed and pushed towards the window, but it didn't even budge. It was bolted to the floor. Damn! Phasys kicked the bed in anger and recieved a stubbed toe. He found a few crumbling spots in the wall. Phasys quickly lashed out at these indents and eventually created a few footholds. He climbed.
Phasys was now looking at the window into an empty desert. He saw a vine, and started to crawl the long distance to the bottom. Halfway down, the vine started cracking from the lack of water out here in the desert. Phasys tried to shift his weight but the damage had been done. There were no other vines, so he jumped back into the castle, landing in another empty cell. Luckily, since no one was occupying it, the door was wide open. It seemed that the entire hall was deserted.
