I got a mail from Blizzard last week, asking if they could display my Diablo drawings among the other fan art in their fan art exhibition at Blizzcon this year. I said yes, of course, but wanted to let them have something of better quality than the other two drawings I've made, so I decided to make this third one. I'm more happy with how this one turned out than the other two, even though there's still room for improvement.
this one is worthy of being displayed at blizzcon for sure

they'll never see me coming.. life is a sequence of tragedies, inconsistent only by fleeting, elusive moments of pleasure,
serving only to ensure absolute vulnerability to the pain of their inevitable absence.
That's just incredible.... Gifted, and if you work hard - who knows?
Don't get mad, I've got some advice: The sorceress' contour lines are a bit too defined. She sticks out of the image, it's like you pasted her on the background.
And the colour you chose for her is simply wrong... Add some strong colors.
Other than that it's crazy good.

The Barbarian is from Arreat, a very cold snowy mountain top, but they are much tougher than normal humans, so they don't need warmth.

Where are Barbarians originally from? Sumeria, or more specifically Mesopotamia, AKA Europe. Think the Alps and the Pyrenees
This is awesome. One of the best I've ever seen here. Im a hard critic too. This is sick dude, I tip my hat

I agree with you about the contours, but not about the colors. I actually tried to avoid too many different strong colors, and instead have the orange/red hues dominate the picture. The fire adds an orange/red hue to the light, which blends with the green of her clothes, resulting in almost gray.
Also, the color of her clothes would change depending on the stats on them, right? ;D So, technically, nothing is "wrong".
You're entitled to your own opinion though. :] I appreciate the criticism.

To be honest, I 'took a second look' yesterday and I agree with you. I wanted to delete my second comment out of fear that if you took my advice you'd get your artpiece refused because of the radical color change I suggested, but I guess I forgot to.
Sometimes it's good not to give in to other opinions :]

That's really great- I love your artwork, it's always wonderfully dramatic. And of course I love casters. The Zann Esu. Goodness, it's really beautiful! Now that you've already done fire and lightning, why not try cold?
Kidding, although it would be awesome to see what you would come up with. I really wish I had that kind of talent. Great job, man.
Thank you guys.
I'd just like to say that while they did ask for permission to display my art, they probably did so just to have the option, and probably haven't decided for sure which pictures they want to display yet. There's a lot of great art out there, and they've got limited space, so I wouldn't say it's guaranteed that my pictures will be shown, but I hope they will.
I wonder also if they contact people this way if they want to feature one's artwork in their fan art gallery at Blizzard's homepage. Cause I know we've had all this amazing Diablo fan art lately and that some of those people have submitted their work to Blizzard. But I still have yet to see any new Diablo stuff in that gallery. It's still mostly just WoW stuff as usual.

When you submit art for their fan art gallery on their homepage, they don't need to ask. By submitting art there, you give them a non-exclusive copyright. :]
My guess is that they're saving up a bunch of Diablo related fan art for later, and post it when the D3 hype has built up a little more.
I haven't started on anything new yet, I'm afraid. These drawings are actually part of my final project in school. Unfortunately, there's a significant written part in addition to the drawings, and I'll be working on that the next couple of weeks. I'll try to do at least one more drawing towards the end of the project. Hopefully more than one.
By the way... While appreciated, the congratulation at the bottom of the wiki fan art gallery makes me a little uncomfortable, as I haven't exactly been guaranteed that my art will be shown. xD

Would it be possible to post all your work for everyone to see?
Everyone except Blackwing I mean... I would love that.
EDIT: I'm not flaming anyone - I just want that to happen.
My deviantArt gallery (http://broken-orange.deviantart.com) is always updated with pretty much everything I do. If it's worth seeing, you'll find it there. You may also find quite a few drawings not worth seeing. Just avert your eyes if you come across those.
I'm afraid I don't have the technical skills required to block Blackwing from visiting that site though. ;]

The only thing I notice that is "wrong" is the Goatman's leg looks... odd, like it doesn't bend it's kinda chubby looking.
The rest is amazing though. Love your work.

You are very skillful as many people have already stated.
