Well, it still looks very good, in my opinion. And I'm sure those critiques and such will help you do even better next time
(There WILL be a next time, right?! *Waves gun in Umpa's face*)
By the way, how long did this take you?
lol well....remember i said i was gonna do a Nilithak fan art after i did the little Diablo portrait? Well, this is kinda what has been stopping me lol!
It took me a very long time, considering that I didn't get to sit down every day and do it because of time limits, school and a bunch of other stuff.
But yes, there will be more lol

That is what I was thinking, darken it up a little. You work seriously impresses me dude, you definitely have a talent.
Thank you I sincerely appreciate it.
It happens to be my main career goal. Without this talent I would be screwed lol.

If it happens to be your career goal, I suggest you start drawing from life as much as possible. It's absolutely crucial to any artist which wants to draw biological entities.
Some of your stuff looks rough, but you do have some potential...so draw more.
Also, forgot to mention, I think the composition is wrong because the wings of the angel look cluttered, and seem to have a lot of weight on them, because of the horse heads and the elements above it. Personally I would have put the angel in the top part of the canvas.

Its more of a symbolic thing....it was intended to give off a possible message of the world's fate (or w/e you would like to interpret it as) being on the shoulders of some higher being.
It's not supposed to be looked at as how much weight the wings could carry in a realistic sense like that, but more of a....gothic mural type of thing. Very abstract and somewhat archaic in design.
Once I add the black ink wash it will come to gether a bit better.
And yes I do "real life" stuff, Ive studied anatomy for a little bit. When I say study, i also mean drawing of course.
That was my first time ever using ink so it was a little rough i'll admit.
appreciated input

I'm just going to tell you that 99.9% of people that draw random stuff and post it on websites do not have drawing as a career goal, sometimes not even a hobby...
I'm also going to tell you that a person's artistic ability cannot be extracted from an image unless you enjoy the image greatly. They may lack experience or dedication, not necessarily artistic talent.
To cap it all, putting words "career" and "art" is blasphemy if you ask me.

Your confusing me, I don't understand how considering art as a career goal would be blasphemy( im assuming, blasphemy toward art).

I see your point. Trying to ''Extract'' Umpa's talent wasn't my intention in the first place either.

True. Sometimes I take things to seriously...

Why? Shouldn't artists be able to live from what they poor their soul into?
Edit: Umpa, It was your first ink drawing? Pretty good.
