I didn't wanna sound harsh with my comment, I assumed it was a grow as time passes code with what you explained.
I effectively programmed last time 20 years ago while in college, however few months ago I passed Java 8 SE certification (boss wanted me to do it, but I still get no programming tasks at work...)
Oh I didn't perceive it as harsh at all, just went into random rambling. Happens quite a lot to me ;-)
Congratz on the certification! There are so many online resources to learn languages. When Codecadamy came out first I took a few lessons there, though I found it a bit too basic and long-winded. It's probably better now, but it made me realize I need an actual project and motivation behind it, not just "learning for the sake of learning". I also took Photoshop+Illustrator classes last year but discovered they're pretty much useless if you don't have an actual design goal in mind that you can use those classes for. Find your own thing! For example, you could try to write an Android Season Journey Tracker app in Java!
The Seasonal Journey seems to be currently bugged at Destroyer because 'Easy' isn't giving completion even with 3 conquests completed (Need 1). Can't see past it to see if there are any errors after that point. Will have to sit and wait.
FYI, for the Chapter IV section, Adria must be killed at L70/T2 and the Butcher at L70/T4. You have it listed the other way around. Thanks for the great chart! Makes it so much easier to plan ahead and go for other challenges if you're not up to the ones at your current level.
EDIT - oops, I see you already fixed it. Sorry to bother!
I strongly recommend though to search for help in public communities. You will very likely find a group that is able to do them on T13, and all they want is you to bring the machines. In a full group, if everyone brings a full set of machines, it means that you get 3 Organs guaranteed from each Uber fight, resulting in 12 Hellfire Amulets after a full run. If you do the bare minimum (T1 for Slayer uber fights) you'll only get one Organ.
Where do I get the description? Well, finishing the journey and reading it myself ;-) I've done Guardian in each Season pretty much as soon as possible (usually on Saturday/Sunday, currently I would be done but due to the Conquest bug can't see past Destroyer). As for the changes, Diablo CM Tyvlar shared them with me on Reddit a week before the season, so I was able to update it before Season start instead of frantically having to interrupt my Season opening weekend playing session ;-) However, there are always small errors and mistakes in there (both in communication and coding), but by now I think they've all been discovered, as you can see by following the discussion in this thread.
About the longer descriptions: I've thought about it, but it would make it extremely verbose and a lot of work. I don't have Internet right now (currently on mobile), so it's not gonna happen anytime soon, and I'm not really sure it's worth it. Basically, the Tracker was initially really just a tool to keep track of your status, not a replacement of a Blizzard game guide (I'd be much happier if they'd just provide their own tracker tool). If I was to make such a change, I'd rather add explanations and tips to each steps which help more than the elaborate description (see screenshot). For example, there's a lot of time that can be saved if you carefully plan each season, which allows you to get the stash tab in ~20-25 hours and Guardian in ~30 hours if you're really determined, well-prepared, and have an experienced group of players.
But that being said: I'll think about it! Thanks for the feedback :-)
EDIT: Finally! Season Journey is fixed. Guardian finished. Had a quick glance, everything seems to be correct.
Nice idea! I renamed the Keywardens + Machines. You're actually right, I think for many people it's not immediately obvious which machine refers to which act.
As I'm sure you are already preparing the S9 tracker, why not introducing a button "Show next season journey (beta status)"
Because it's not ready yet ;-)
Since they changed a few more things this time, and the total number of items per chapter differs, I'll have to do a more thorough testing and rewrite the logic a bit before releasing the S9 version. I'm not sure when I'll have time to do that. As soon as it's done I'll see if I can add that beta button. Should've done it a long time ago so people on PTR can cross-check, but this time of the year usually lacks one thing: time.
Season Journey now updated to S9 on the Tracker. Required some major changes that messed up some of my scripts, but I did some quick tests and it should all be fine. As usual, let me know if you find any mistakes.
A huge thank you Bagstone! I know it's a huge effort on your part. Very much appreciated - the season journey is a permanent open tab on my browser all season, and really hopes to focus and keep motivated :-)

your updated journey thing is wrong
on champion it requires you to kill T11 Ghom instead of T10
need to fix that
Thanks! Fixed.

For completing Conqueror you don't need to kill Izual in 30 seconds, only the kill matters.
Hi Carel,
Nope, it's not a mistake; it's really T1 and then T10. No idea why. Here are screenshots:

A very handy tool. Thanks
Great stuff, thanks a lot for doing it.

Two typos:
1. For Champion, I think the gems just need to be leveled to 35, not 45.
2. Conqueror SK kill is 30sec, not 15sec according to http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/20407576/first-look-season-9-12-23-2016
Apart from that, I can't see any thing that looks odd. It's good to see that the A1-5 bounties can be done individually.
Correct! Copy-pasta mistake. Fixed.
The second one is a socket. No idea how that got mixed up, thanks
thank you very much for the update!
