In the aftermath of Diablo downfall, Tyrael rejoins the Angiris Council and becomesNephalem of Wisdom (aka Archangel of Wisdom) the aspect of wisdom, has he said that justice was served that day and he needs to stand and remember for all who saved Sanctuary and the High Heavens. Was he thinking that there was no need for a Archangel of Justice, so no more demons to bring to justice?! And now with the events on Reaper of Souls, Malthael, needs to be brought to justice.
So comes the question, will there be or who will the one to walk on the Courts of Justice as Archangel of Justice?
And what about the El'durin, the Sword of Justice, will be renamed? or given to the next Archangel of Justice?
It seems interesting. Perhaps a new archangel can be born through the crystal arch to replace either wisdom or justice.

Deckard Cain could become the next Archangel of justice.
And btw Tyrael is not a nephalem!
Likewise, Deckard is not an angel. Although the idea of him becoming the Aspect of Wisdom is fitting and gives me happy feelings, it wouldn't really make sense with the lore.

They can revive Cain somehow, make him all pretty as Wisdom, and have Tyrael return to his post as Justice. Or he can just say, "I'm going all-out mortal now, here's El'Druin as a present" and disappear forever.

Disclaimer: I don't know anything.
You totally do. I know you have insider information. Spill it all out!
I really don't see Tyrael as the Official Archangel of Wisdom, or at least by decree of a higher power in Heaven. He appoints himself a the end, "Saying justice was served" but that does not instantly make him NOT the Archangel of Justice.
He's doing something seen often in real world. He's essential a returning general (in a way) from war and becoming an advisor (...see what they did there...) to other people in the future (The Council and taking on Wisdom's role).
A further discussion point is that, if I am not mistaken, the reason why the Crystal Arch did NOT spawn a new member to take on Wisdoms role was because he was not dead?
An interesting thing...Tyrael is thrown aside, not killed in the RoS cinematic. While I think this just be bad placement, of something for that to happen to a beloved character, I also think it hints to something (if my previous point is more or less true).
Wisdom's, now Death's mission is just as it has been the prime goal of the Angels and Demons to wipe each other out, it's part of who they are; their very being. Could It be Malthael, knew he was in the right on his mission, and by not killing Tyrael, would avoid a not needed casualty (an Angel which are not part of the mission, just Nephalem & Demons) and possible re-incarnation of a new Archangel of justice now with a "Just" mission of his own to take Malthael out...!?
Going all tin foil hat here....
I have a feeling Tyrael will die in his current state, BUT will be reborn as Archangel of Justice to help out at the last minute.
It would be cool if Cain was reincarnated as a new Archangel of Wisdom with Leah as his assistant when what ever happens to Malthael happens.
A plot hook that I think could be really interesting:
A Demon decides to take the mantle of Justice, although he calls it Vengeance.
The demon would be an anti hero character, no on likes him, in heaven, hell, or Sanctuary. As long as he has that mantle of vengeance, no Angle can take up justice. He would be brutal, not necessarily fair, but if someone calls on him to avenge themselves, a fallen loved one, or a simple offense, he'll make sure that retribution is swift. If that retribution brings out the need for more retribution, so much the better.
If an Angel can fall to Death or Wrath, why couldn't a Demon rise and twist a Vengeance Mantle into Justice?
When Tyrael makes his sacrifice, the essence of Justice appears to be absorbed into the Heavens, or at least the floor of the Angiris Council chambers. His wings dissolve into the floor and instead of their normal bluish color they become a fiery orange.
This could be used to create a new Archangel of Justice, and the change of its color could mean an altered personality as well. When I think of it, the character Vhailor from Planescape: Torment comes to mind.
"When the injustice is great enough, justice will lend me the strength needed to correct it. None may stand against it. It will shatter every barrier, sunder any shield, tear through any enchantment, and lend its servant the power to pass sentence. Know this: There is nothing on all the Planes that can stay the hand of justice when it is brought against them. It may unmake armies. It may sunder the thrones of gods. Know that for all who betray justice, I am their fate. And fate carries an executioner's axe."
"Justice purges evil. Once all have been cleansed, the multiverse achieves perfection."
"Justice is the blade by which the Planes shall be cleansed."
"Justice is not blind, for I am her eyes."
"All who are guilty shall be punished. I shall not rest until the sentences of the condemned have been carried out."
"There is only one truth in the multiverse. The multiverse shall be sharpened upon the blade of justice. With justice as its whetstone, the multiverse shall achieve perfection."
you know... maybe el'druin doesn't work anymore since he took up post as archangel of wisdom? perhaps thats why he couldn't harm Malthael, and maybe since it's just wisdom now it can't harm angels or somethin?

I'm pretty sure there is somewhere explanation why El'druin didn't harm Malthael, it's because he didn't want to to "bad things"(ralativy to "El'Druin").
Anyway, I'd like to see new Archangel, but who? ...
I'd imagine that it still considers Tyrael the Archangel of Justice and once we kill Malthael a new angel of wisdom may spawn.
