Hey guys, I have just recently started to play Diablo 2: LOD again while I wait for Diablo 3. Can anyone point me to a really kick arse mod that I could play on. I have played the game so many times that while I enjoy it, I want to play the same game but with different types of things (if you know what I mean lol).
I started playing Snej just yesterday, first time ever playing a mod. I liked that they kept all the same skills (easier transition for a mod noob). But because of that its quite similar to vanilla D2 LOD minus a few customizations to a few areas per act.
All in all its basically just scaling diablo further (max lvl 500, max skill points at 60, ive found a 6+ ele helm for myself, so the loot scaled as well). So its gonna be day 2 of playing tomorrow, so i can follow up unless you find something else that interests you

I don't know what you mean. But if you mean what I think you mean, you should look into either Eastern Sun or Requiem of Sorrow. The latter one requires patch 1.10 to run, but it's a great mod if you like the original gameplay and simply want more items, retweaked areas, retweaked skills and a fun lvl 50 dungeon after Hell Baal
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Personally I absolutely love Eastern Sun as a top Mod. Level increase to 10,000 and Max Skill of 100, with tonnes of new Runewords and Gemwords and some viciously tough tweaked AI. Definitely a must have if you're looking for D2 Mods.

There are many mods out there that offer different changes to the game.
I would check out d2mods.com (Phrozen Keep). There are many mods there and one or more may catch your fancy. Most of the mods there are now unsupported but most of the mods are in a playable condition.

Nice video!
Thanks... And I've made it into the beta - that video is showing the first class I'm going to play once it has finished downloading lol! =)
