So I've only ever played barbs/sorcs, but am really interested in the Druid. I started one a while ago (lvl 5) that I've saved stat/skill points for. I don't know the first thing about them though.
What build do you recommend for single player? I've read through a bunch (http://strategy.diii.net/searchcat.php?cid=31) but don't really know which I like. Any input? any that aren't listed there?
It all depends on what you want to do. Summon druid for normal is pretty fun. It differs from a necro because you cant just stand back.
Mauler is a bit better for the long haul. Werebear and maul will have you out lving almost anything.
Fury werewolf will tear through most of the game.
Wind druid are probably the best for SP if you are in it for the long haul. You get dual element attacks with your synergies so you have a better chance against immunes.

Sorry I dont have my Wind Druid Build updated in the wiki, that was me getting side tracked in life, but anywho, I will give you a brief build overview here. Wind druids are my favorite build of every ladder season.
Here is your skill breakdown using the new Diablofans Skill Tool!
Max your Elemental skills first and oak sage last, but if you are playing single player, you might buff oak a little early.
Obviously for Stat points, Str enough for gear, dex can vary depending on whether or not you want to go for max block, rest in vit, and none in energy.
Let me know if you have anymore questions!!!

~ Some people are still alive only because it is illegal to kill them ~
I've tried following a few links like that but it doesn't have the skills filled in. W/e- I can just look up stuff. I like the idea of wind druid. would definitely be a shield/weapon yeah? (Can druids even dual wield?)
Was looking at the skills though. What skills should I go for? Armageddon? Or just hurricane?
Hurricane and tornado are your two attacks. Cover physical and cold. Max out twister and cyclone armomr for synergies. 1 pt into oak sage and 1 pt into grizzly (plus preq). With 1.13 I would go summoning through normal with dire wolves so you can actually do some damage and then respec to wind in nightmare. Otherwise all your doing is auto attack.

PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

Yeah, I saw those too, but wasn't too keen on the shape-shifting/summoning (shoulda mentioned I was leaning toward elem.)

We also have a new elemental as of today, written by ReBjorn, at Elemental Druid
Hmm, it doesnt does it...interesting, it should!
20 - Cyclone Armor
20 - Twister
20 - Tornado (Main attack skill, unbloackable physical dmg)
20 - Hurricane (Cold Dmg)
20 - Oak Sage (max last)
And yes, definitely would be a wep/shield (Heart of the Oak and Stormshiled/Sanctuary/Etc.)
