I wanted to see why everyone liked their favorite classes (for example why do I like the assassin?).
I love the assassin because of her abilities. My brother once saw a non-hacked assassin defeat a hacked necromancer. I love how they made her difficult to get across her with hacks, and that when they say if you put her abilities together correctly, you get something totally kick-butt and awesome!
Well? Why do you like your favorite class? Shout it to the world. Oh, and please don't say why you hate other classes.

One rule about me: If I'm going to tolerate your insanity, you will tolerate mine.
Almost all men can stand adversity. If you want to test a mans character, give him power.
You see what power is; holding someone else's fear in your hand and showing it to them.
paladin. bcuz his attacks are so freakin fast. (i make zealots, not hammerdins). they attack fast, and everything around them.... makes me feel like Demoman from TF2 XD
Polls just ask what's your favorite class. This is why you like your favorite class. If you wanted a poll, you can do a search for one or make your own. Enough said.

Paladin. I always like the paladin/knight type character the best in all games. I like being able to synch kids. On a hammerdin or on a smiter or telezealer etc. Getting a good synch and having no one know exactly where you are, and being able to sneak up on people while they spam in the opposite direction, just so awesome.
Long, long time Diablo fan; short, short time with DiabloFans. USEast D2 Ladder/1.13 Beta: Accnt = ChezPizmo USEast WCIII Ladder: Accnt = TeeheeSprinkles A cool, unrelated video; "Dude Bids 420 on Price is Right" ("420, Bob") "I'm nasty, I'm old and a little bit ornery; I look like Patrick Stewart and sound like Sean Connery." Patch 1.13 = (click here)
sorcs are prettiest creatures in the game, also i love teleportation and blizzard.
Sorcs also have very interesting character builds and every build is another kind of game, another kind of fun
Very good point. The Sorc is like 3 different class routes in one character.

i really like barbarians in LOD and either sorceress or pallys in vanilla d2.
The assassin could be really fun if they actually gave her skills to use her claws for. the only skill that incorporates their class specific item is the passive ability to block attacks while wearing two claw class weps.
The barbarian was given almost endless posibilities when runewords came out. i particularly enjoyed playing my chaos sanctuary barb and my golf finder
paliden was my first class and so theyll always have a special place.
sorcs were really fun when skills like nova and frost nova were as viable end game as orb/blizz/etc
They did that. Dragon Claw requires two duel-wielded claws to be used. Plus, Claws of Thunder require claw class weapons.
Does that help?
Edit: And Weapon Block can only be used with two duel-wielded claws. Blades of Ice can only be used with a claw class weapon too.
They did add things for her claws.
Counter-attack!

assassin for the versatility.. could be melee, caster, best as hybrid.
great utility skills (best crowd control in the game for pvp and pvm)
love the skills and that so many are useful (had some builds that required 16 hotkeys, i don't know another class that needed so much micromanagement and finesse)
love the way they look.
love chaos ww.
can hold their own with crap gear (and caution), and own the game with good gear.
and can't live without burst of speed

they'll never see me coming.. life is a sequence of tragedies, inconsistent only by fleeting, elusive moments of pleasure,
serving only to ensure absolute vulnerability to the pain of their inevitable absence.
Necromancer for great tactical skills. Bonemancer to be specific. Although the damage dealt isn't nearly as large as the damage dealt by Hammerdins or most Sorcs, but they're great fun. Monsters can't reach you to damage you, and you're left there mauling their health in complete peace and quiet. Keep them behind a wall, slow them down with Decrepify, and Spirit/Spear them to oblivion. Also, very few are magic immunes..even the ones that are can be deal with by either a good merc, or Corpse Explosion, which with +skills, would deal a decent amount of damage. They're just real fun and strategic. Beats instantly killing anything in your path. Not to mention the other builds available for this class. Walking around with 20 minions doing your bidding, while you sip late from a skull. Poisonmancers? Really fun with the nova and Lower Resist.

Plus he's got a big ass army of the walking dead that kills anything in it's wake.
(And, in the end, that's what it's all about, killing anything that gets in your way! RAWR!)

My favorite sorc build so far is firewall frozen orb with an Act 2 Merc. Can kill anything...except Ubers....
