Haha on the origincal without the expansion, after you beat D there's a time limit. So once you kill him and get drops there's a countdown before the game ends on you and you have to make another.
My other diablo 2 moment happened yesterday. I was using a bone necro dueling this sorc. This was the closest match ever, nearly lasting about 4 mins (long for a duel) All of the sudden................I RAN OUT OF MANA! The sorc started to chase me around the map and I was dodging all the fireballs as I could. The funny part was my girlfriend was in the room watching me as I kept on jumping out of my chair as my butt hole tightened up everytime it was a close call. Finally after running around for a good 2-3 mins, I regen my mana and teleported (finally) behind her and blasted her with decrip and a few spirits. Woot!

To those that are unwilling, may you cower in the corner.
To those that are willing, may you smack those who are in the corner in the face
I'm actually glad Helios mentioned that. Cause before when playing a video game and I was about to die, or my guy was about to fall off a narrow ledge, or whenever there was a moment like that, my butthole would also tighten up. Stimulus response, I suppose. But I could never get other people to admit that this happens to them too.

Everyone who is a gamer should have already experienced the "Sphinktor Reflex Syndrom". Side effects include, muscle spasm in the glute region, involuntary muscle movements in the quads, abdominal, and arm regions when experiencing difficult game play, eyelidsnotclosingism, and more.

I hate it when I'm playing any kind of PVP game and it starts getting so competitive that my heart actually starts racing. It feels unnatural for one's heart to move that fast without actually exercising.

Its like the adrenaline rush you would get in a fight with someone bigger than you.... then afterwards you feel slightly ashamed because it was just a game
Especially pvp, or when your having a massive argument with someone and you go into pvp with them... you just have to kill them, no other option will suffice... im guessing the adrenaline increased brain activity launching your mind into uber pro mode so you dont make any mistakes
It's nothing like getting in a fight in real life though. Whenever I'm in a situation like that in real life, I get so anxious that I'll throw up on a person before fighting them.
once, i wrote down the runeword for hoto, but the thul looked like tal, so i did (ko vex pul tal) i almost cried.
another time, i had an extra hoto, and i died. put my extra hoto on, died again, left the game, and realized that i only got my first body. i lost a 38 hoto that day. ='(
those are my stories, i have hundreds more, but those are the only ones i could think of, since i read something about a hoto earlier.
Edit: OH, there was also this one time that i traded a hoto for a -30/+30 light faceted sword, and the sword was worth nothing, and ppl gave me shit for it. i lost the hoto a few days before i was gonna do a full day of baaling

lv.23 sorceress look for me on Diablo 2:Lord Of Distruction Battle.Net!:D
My favorite moment in Diablo 2 is actually in the opening cinematic; after all the tavern-goers are slain by the Waunderer’s minions. The warrior leaves with Marius behind him. Then Marius makes his quote… ”From that moment, we traveled together; East. Always, into the East.” After that line, I lost all bearing that I was actually playing Diablo 2 after waiting for almost 2 years after I began hearing the rumors. That’s just me though.
