I'll add the build soon, sleepy to type it all up. But here are the pics anyways. Overall, good build? This is with bo and holy sheild casted. Forgot to include cta, but its a 5-6 battle orders, can't remember. 5 of the Grand charms are Pcombs, the other is an Off skills gc I had in there for some reason. The small charms are 20+lifers.
Of course, it isn't finished. I stopped working on it when ladder reset, and the hardest part was the Coronet. I'll add my brief stat+skills part tomorrow or maybe I'll have to postpone it even later. Its pretty straight up if you check the pics though. Let me know just how good this ranks, even if you don't know about Hammerdins. You can always just eyeball the equipment and decide whether the equipment is good.
Due to popular demand, here's the merc gear. Granted, its not godly at all, just the bare necessities to what he needs to survive. He's only there to provide mana really, I don't need a tank or dps.
Thats bout the best you will get, other than the uber rare 45 lifer pcombs lol
as for the ammy if you have some spare cash try to find a +2 pally skils 20ias one with resists and stuff. I see you have maxed resists, but these days anyone can take your resists down to crap

HoZ is upped.
Drac's in Stash.
LT Wand in Stash
You probably see where I am going, but thats the truth. HoZ on a Hammerdin is not optimal, you get more damage but less FCR. Breaking certain FCR points will get you more end damage than higher damage but slower cast time.

The gear is nice indeed. There isn't much room for improvement, but I see some of your gear doesnt have max stats on it. "Go for the gold" and slowly but surely replace items with perfect items of the same type if you want, it'll set an even bigger sign
One thing you might want to consider: MP Enigma gets you 300 def less, but lets you stat more vitality. Since you are a Paladin, you will get defense from Holy Shield anyway, I settled for less defense as well, but got away wearing a monarch without having to stat a single point into STR, and my gear is very much the same except the circlet and the shield (pally shield vs. monarch).
For someone that is on and off playing D2, it is very good gear though, and I know how long it takes to get gear like this.

Very nice equipment. To ruin the experience for you though, you could head over to one of those d2 item purchasing sites and buy all of this equipment for like 15-20$. That's why I find it funny that flaming actually exists on diablo2. I personally hate MFing, I hated spending 8 hours a day and MAYBE getting a couple good items. Or rushing people for their forge over and over. It's just not worth it for me. I'd prefer to just buy equipment with a little extra cash. Then again, Diablo2 has lost its flare for me. I've played it too much, I can't stand to do another Baal run or what not.
The items aren't the absolute best, but they are close. I use legit items only as Thas said, and these are the only items I use. I'll take some pics of my switch and of my merc for ya guys later, those aren't the best either but they are good I think. Keep in mind, this pally is rigged for speed and the fastest obliteration of demons. I can rush a person through hell in under 15 minutes usually, granted the rushee isn't slow at keeping up. My merc is just there for insight and provide mana, it makes my work alot easier and faster.
As for the other items mentioned, he's a Hammerdin. Hoz is for Zealadins and the other items are unnecessary for this character. I could use a better amulet, but I don't have any thing to trade for one. Gave all my extra valuables that my characters didn't need to Jarhead to give to all NL players.
Wow.. I always thought HoZ was the best for hammerdins too.. Lesson learned. That's really nice though. The Hoto is almost perfect. You could even fit some more charms in there and I don't think it gets better than that helm.

You probably know that I am close to the biggest nut about this subject, I never implied getting items that didn't originate from monster drops I believe its a question of self-honor, in a game like this where stuff is easy to get, you shouldn't waste time pulling sad faces at people who are richer than you, just go out and find better items. However, I also never meant it would be easy to replace your items. Its just something that you could consider a long-time project
Good luck and have fun finding ways to tweak you Hdin, and using it to show the rest of us. I will be doing about the same with my sin^^

Well. This gives me something to aim for (assuming I ever get above level 30 that is) Pretty good. All you need now is some demons to slay, and we all know there are enough of them about.

I had bottom of the line stuff on my hammerdin. He only did 10k but his defense was extremely high(I don't remember what it was). You should post your mercs gear up here too.
