Thanks Medieval. I know you're credible from past occurences (thanks for those also), so I trust you. Anyway, can you post a bit more info whenever you can? Or whenever there is. Once again, thanks. Also, perhaps they will be adding higher resolutions.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
Well people has started speculation on specific game content such as acts, items, and stuff. I have no knowledge of such things. But again, I do not know what other things the patch may contain. I don't know if there are bug fixes.
The tristram music that was played at BlizzCon was not of Blizzard's doing. It was Video Games Live. And just like everyone thought, Video Games Live played music from all 3 universes. However, what Video Games Live didn't know, is that there was nothing Diablo related at BlizzCon.
In short, do not cite that the Video Games Live performance of the Diablo theme has anything to do with Diablo III. Video Games Live was just doing what they do, playing music from games.
You will see that I am correct Carl. No CD for D2 is what is going to happen. They will do the same thing with Warcraft 2 BNE.
As for you MidevilDragon, everytime you have come to this forum and hype something, it has always been something very "not worth the hype" when it is finally revealed. This matter will be no different. However, I am not opposed of you trying to spice things up.

That's a bit harsh as Blizzard has pretty much done nothing with relation to Diablo in years. Can't really blame MD for at least trying to spread some news our way, even if it may be "not worth the hype".
Ok so being the optimist that I am lets add this up.... Top secret in job postings + Dev's on Blizzcast + new patch in what 3 years? + what ever you can think of = ..........................

That would inevitably happen. But do let us all know when you find out something concrete won't you.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

They haven't! The next Blizzcast podcast features Chris Metzen answering questions about Blizzard lore and they will be answering questions about the Diablo universe as well. Everyone knows Blizzard is tight-lipped about their games before release as they well should be. Their dedication to quality dictates that they minimize vaporware. They've paid consistent attention to the Diablo franchise in its current form, that is, they've released minimal content as far as gameplay goes but have still pushed the lore and broadened the universe from many other angles. They KNOW that Diablo is on everyone's mind lately. All in-depth interviews feature at least one question where the interviewer grills a Blizzard rep or other Blizz creative talent about Diablo III. With all this fan attention how could they possibly deny its importance? I'm glad we're getting a patch and even if it's a No-CD patch it's fine with me Not thrilling, but still fine.

it doesn't really matter what they add, simply that they are actually doing something. I would rather Diablo 3 than a modified Diablo 2.
Downloading the podcast as we speak even though I read the transcript.
