Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

You have a gf on the internet. I hope she is telling you the truth and not lying to you. Do you know what she looks like anyway. Do you know how old she is. Myabe she is 55 and she wants a younger boy. Have you ever thought of that.

This kind of stuff can usually be tracked down one way or another. That is certainly the last problem of internet relationships.
an enigma isn't that big of a deal.. i got my sin jacked once and it had 2x legit fcr/life/mana rings, legit crafted 2/19/10 life rep sin ammy, wizzies, full set of perm 40 life trap gcs, full set of 20/17's, perf anni perf torch, perm 2/3/2 claws with 7 fhr/-15 req jewels.... i got my crap back and now i share all of my accounts with my friend i've known for about 3 years now over diablo.. and he shares his accs with me, it's just a game... might piss you off and yes it did take time to get the items but if you really wanna piss him off i think your on the right track, earn his trust and then jack him later... while your at it, learn to pk extremely good on one character and after you take his items ask him for a 1v1 to 10 or something for his items back and after you kill him, nk him 9 times and be like "gg 10-0, thanks for the items"
unless you have a community on your realm where you and him are known... then you could just own him every pk game and talk shit, that would get him too
I hate it in Maple Story and Runescape where everyone tries to get a 'girlfriend', or girls just act stupid to have someone 'save them' and help them out.
Fuck off, they can look after themselves.
Female brains are not inferior to males. Girls who act like they have absolutely no clue are just 'playing the part' because of society and media and stuff like that.
I'm glad there isn't much of it going on in Diablo (mostly because its not an MMO).

I hate that! So dumb...
Except when I impersonate one to get free stuff. Works well.

lol, fbim4, I always make that mistake too, forgetting the 'not'. Its funny, because its a fairly minor typo, yet it changes the meaning of the sentence entirely.
Edit: I haven't really been betrayed (that I remember) in Diablo, but in real life I was tricked into trading off my favourite pokemon card. like wtf, it was my favourite lol. Why would I trade a Clefairy for a freaking crappy Nidoking.
(coincidentally, Nidoking is number 100 in the pokedex, and Clefairy is number 101 - they are next to each other. I know this because I just looked up the spelling for Nidoking, as my memory only served me with 'Needleking' lolol)
well he wanted to check out my characters and i let him, and he made some excuse that his dad needed to use the phone or something to get me off the phone. I knew him for like 2 years O.o

Damn, I wish I had have said this when I first came to this thread:
I'm a friend and I'll betray you, if you like.
Or maybe
i'm your friend and I will betray you, as long as it's okay with you, you know, because a lot of people don't like being betrayed nowadays. I remeber in the 2000's when people use to betray people left and right. People used to enjoy it. Just think of Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode 3... I mean he betrayed the whole world than and just fucked it up. Well, anyway, if you want to be betrayed, dont hesitate to ask because you will always be in my heart... I love you bro

No I didnt live close to him. But I trusted him since we were buddies for like 2 years. We used to help each other trans items and whatnot. He just went into a private game and transed all my items to his mules. Don't know how he ran two copies of Diablo II. Probably another computer and another copy of Diablo II
I suppose I've been pretty fortunate, considering I've never really been scammed in an online game (or much anywhere else, for that matter). Then again, I never really talk to people in games anyway, unless I've known them prior to playing it, though there are exceptions.
That's not to say that no one's ever tried to scam me before. About a year ago, some girl tried to scam me out of a very good dexterity ring on another MMO. She claimed she just wanted to try it out, since we were both archers and she just wanted to see what it was like. She threw a fit when I didn't let her; turns out that later on, she became the most popular scammer on the server. Apparently plenty of people gave in to her.
My ex-boyfriend got scammed on Diablo II, but he was stupid about it. He entered a trading game in an attempt to get some equipment in exchange for 40 chipped gems (this was back when chipped gems were a form of currency, I suppose). I was standing right by him at his PC while he started loading the gems into the trade screen. The guy he was trading with said that he didn't have enough room, so to give him half of the gems, let him run to his stash, give him the other half, and then he would trade the items. I told my ex not to do it, since the guy happened to be a friend of a friend of mine (who had been known for trying to scam), but the idiot did it anyway. Needless to say, after the first half of the trade was complete, the trader left. He whined and vowed to never play the game again, and he didn't.

yeah sucks, even though it's a game it still has sentimental value because you put time and effort into getting the items
