for being able to pick being a monk, a bard or a barbarian, using new items like oils, and fighting new monsters on new stages, and having the stairs to town stay open when you go to new game and having three difficulties you lose the ability to play online. Sierra didnt have the rights to use battle.net. i think you could still play TCP/IP games though

they're pretty rare. tried Amazon and its for like 40 euro. thats around 50$ which is bit insane for an expansion released 10 years ago. Downloaded it from a torrent but theres no damn sound in it... got to check for new ones...
