The passives alone and 2 skill slots will give you:
- 1 armor per dex (passive)
- 10% vitality + healing (Mantra of Healing + Rune)
- All the different resistance elements are the same as your highest resistance (passive)
- When receiving fatal damage you are restored to 35% life + spirit (passive)
- A 3 second shield that absorbs all damage and heals you (with the right rune)
Some of the runes are only available after level 45, but there is quite a good selection before that.
You have 4 slots left for abilites and some have stun or damage reduction effect on enemies, granted i have only skimmed through the other classes but Monk is my favorite class in the beta and it seems quite superior on paper.
The 4 skills are kind of up in the air since we haven't tried most of them.
