Hi all! This is my first class guide video for Diablo 3 and seeing how I play hardcore, I feel there should be more guides on the best way to play each class while trying to stay alive! If you guys have any other questions for me about hardcore or wizards in general please ask away!
This is cookie cutter standard spec with 1 gem changed on account of HC.
If you want to make it interesting, include an in-depth analysis of gems - zei is given, but what about toxin vs trapped? What about other defense gems such as gizzard which is really good with lower health and force armor?
I am all for having a HC wizard guide/build/thread whatevs even if the difference between playmodes is minimal, but this is really basic. Also, this should probably be moved to the wizard board.
This is more of a guide on how exactly to play the Firebird Wizard. Not so much on the gems and skills, yes I do touch briefly on these; however, it's a small note on the wizard. Looking at how the playstyle works with the set is the major focus of the video.
And I feel it's proper way to play a HARDCORE wizard; therefore, it should stay on the HARDCORE forums.
Sorry to say this, but this hardcore guide has so little that is actually hardcore. You cover how to play a firebird wizard, which several people have covered. The playstyle is the same, pull alot but don't overdo it. You don't go over stats of your builds, like recommended AR, armor, healing etc. I want to know these things, I want to get tips that's related to hardcore only and why certain options are better. fx, why did you go with the resistance gem and not the healing gem, stuff like that.
