So, I know this has brought up before, but the last i saw, people were saying the issue of "micro stutters" has been fixed. For me, however, the very begnining of the game is a complete stutter fest from hell (pun intended) to the point where it is hardly playable (not even kidding). In town, it gets better, however, their are certain areas that ALWAYS get the micro stutter. I am not going to list them all, because that would be too hard to explain/too many. Once i am out into open areas, it seems to lessen, however it is still pretty bad in some areas.
What I am asking is, has there been any word on this issue that I have missed or a potential work around? Or, am i just that super unlucky guy out of everyone in beta? O_O?
Some areas of the game are just more graphically intense, and thus take longer to render the frames. Turning the detail levels down (shadows especially), and experiementing with VSync can improve things.
alrighty. So far ive went from high textures to medium and physics to low which doesnt seem to have any effect. Would u recomend vsync on or off, cuz the game seems to tear a lot without it on :|. and lastly, shadows effect it that much?
The worst place so far is captain rumfort in town. Game is smooth but once i get up into his face/run circles around him, the game goes to hell...... to the point where it makes my eyes hurt :(. thanks for the tips, will try em out
