I haven't signed out from my battle.net account for a while and now, when i reinstalled my windows and new internet drivers yesterday, I don't remember my password, not to mention my secret password.
I bought the Reaper of Soul expansion like 3 days ago and I added the code into my battle.net accout. The day after I reinstalled my windows and boom the problems are right in front of my screen.
There is an option where you can add a 6 digit code from a digital copy of the game instead of answearing the secret question but I don't have one, only the expansion which , as I said earlier, is added into the account. So I was wondering if there isn't any possible way to reset my password with the verification of the expansion?
If anyone has encountered my problem and somehow has solved it , please contact me. Thanks!
Should u not adress blizzard them selves ? Just a sugestion, save all your passwords and those answers in secure and ez to find place. These problems happens quite often. I had a problem years ago with bnet acc/password and they helped me.
I just spoken to a battle.net support guy and now my password has been resetted as well as my secret question.
If anyone happens to have the same problem as I had, contact battle.net support service and you'll have your problems solved.
When I created my Bnet account I picked a secret question or something. My wow account got suspended due to suspicious activity. Trust me, I'm a very polite and rule obeying person so a suspension seemed very weird. I call Blizzard and they tell me that they suspended my account because someone tried to log on to it with the correct password but without the authenticator. "Okay" I say, "How do I get it back?". They ask for my secret question and I'm like "Dude, I picked it seven years ago, I don't even remember the alternatives". Long story short, after some clever guessing and help from the Blizzard support I got it back.
Point being, call them, be nice and they'll help you out for sure Which was your case as well!
