If you want to arrange it
This world you can change it
If we could somehow make this
Christmas thing last
By helping a neighbor
Or even a stranger
And to know who needs help
You need only just ask

Thanks guys for the support!
This repaid me and Saya for all the hard work we've done!
Thanks again everyone
We made some noise, certainly it was heard.
I am a bit irritated at the misnomer being passed around by some in the thread, stating that such ideas cannot come to pass with such imbalance between classes.
1) An ARPG of this nature doesn't require exacting balance between classes.
2) Your ideas are for PvPvE, not straight up PvP.
3) The best way for devs to tweak balance for something like this would be to implement and balance on the fly, addressing egregious issues as they arise.
I played Guild Wars (1) for over 7 years, a PvP centric MMO, and it never achieved any semblance of balance. There were always certain classes that stood out as strong or weak, certain builds that beat all others or were non-viable.
At the end of the day, we would all be best served, concerning longevity of (re)playability, to have something engaging to do other than grind loot all the time. As Amaro said above, this will never truly feel like Diablo without PvP, or at least some semblance thereof.
Congratulations on your idea taking root the way it did. I felt a bit like a jerk going over your head and making a seperate thread @Bnet about it, but your hard work deserved notice, and notice it got.
I really appreciated what you did since my post didn't get as my attention as yours, so thanks again for that
I think that even if it's not balanced it might work... I mean maybe if there were leaderboards you would use the best combo of classes and builds, but even if leaderboards would you "cheat" for the win with your friends and clan mates?
I don't think so... and I bet that friends and in-clan fights would be the most played.
