Updated to most recent PTR patch. Thanks for everyone for providing new info. Of course, the entire gem section is "somewhat" outdated again... upgrade per rank is probably entirely re-scaled since secondaries were moved from 200 to 25 and upgrading became much more difficult. As usual... if anyone has an update to gems in particular, any information is helpful.

Bane of the Trapped and Enforcer, 0.3% per rank.
In terms of upgrading its actually really easily now to get to 25 and unlock the second ability. Took me 2 hours to get one gem to 25. But yes, its harder to advance further as its predicated on how high you an clear.

1) Do you have pictures of those gems? Would be awesome! Won't be able to play for the next few days, probably... at least not a lot, so can't check myself. Thanks for the info!
2) 25 ranks in 2 hours? Wow. Can you elaborate on how you did this? That sounds like super quick... I mean, there's quite a lot you have to do: run T6 to get GR Trial Key (~5 minutes), complete GR Trial to about ~25 (guess takes about 3 minutes), complete GR (~10 minutes). Upgrade, leave. Now, if I assume that you got lucky and got 3 upgrades the first ~5 times and 2 upgrades each GR run after that, it still leaves you with ~10 runs like that; which is about 180 minutes. And not even included all the 30 seconds rift closing timer for each rift/GR, also adds up to about 20 minutes on its own...
Would really be interested in how you can gain that many ranks that fast. I know you've got superb gear and are really quick and efficient, I just don't get how you get there *that* fast
Boon of the hoarder legendary gem apparently drops from Greed in the goblin realm according to battle.net forums
Base 25% chance to make an enemy explode into gold on death. 1.5% upgrade per level. passive at 25 is gives you 2 seconds of +30% movespeed after picking up gold.

As long as the difference between the gem rank and tier completed is 10 or greater, you have a 100% chance to upgrade. 3 attempts each time. So to get a gem to 25, that takes about 8 runs. Takes us about 5 mins to finish a t6 rift to get key, 3-5mins to clear the wave trial (as the gem levels up you have to go further to guarantee the 100% upgrade chance), 3-10 minutes to clear the greater rift depending on what tier. I may have underestimated it a bit, maybe 2 and half hours. This is with a 4 man group. On tiers below 25, we just split up to clear the greater rift quicker.

That is very insightful. Thanks a lot.
Not sure why they did this though... it means that on day 1 after 2.1 is released people will be finished with Greater Rifts (as in, have 3 rank 25 gems). Would've preferred to see max level gems being something you have to work towards for weeks.
^Well we dont know what the max level really is. There could be no max level really but its soft capped anyways with the nature of the system. Getting to 25 to unlock the secondary affect is easy. Getting beyond 40 rank will be difficult.
Oh by "max" I was referring to rank 25. Some gems don't even go beyond that level, and if you prefer those than that definitely means "you're done". Yeah, the soft cap is nice, I was worried about rank 1000 Wreath of Lightnings that instakill everything
It just seems that Greater Rifts are not meant to give a new sense of "longevity". Which is fine, many people didn't like that anyways (forced to do many many GRs), but I found that idea appealing.
Interesting... not sure, first time I see this. I guess the 5 primaries Justice Lantern is not a given, but it can also roll 4 primaries. Let's wait if other people see the same thing happening before we conclude that they reverted this change... which would make the ring useless again.
I have one on rank 25 which means at full stack (45) I should be getting 22.5% damage and armor boost (0.5% per stack).
At full stack, im only getting 13.5% damage boost according to detail stats page. The armor boost is also not added correctly. My monk goes from 17300 armor to 17900 armor at full 45 stack.
Thanks, added. Note that it still rolled indestructability, and just from one random CDR roll we can't say if it rolls CDR by default; might just be a normal weapon random roll. It seems as if they removed the IAS, however.

Also, is it confirmed RoRG is not changed?
Added the Unity... saw it earlier on Reddit but forgot to add it, thanks.
