Loaded up the game this morning, got ready to do some mangle runs before i leave for my vacation. Killed manglemaw about 4-5 times just to confirm, but all 5 times he dropped no items/gold. Was his loot table stealth removed without anyone know??
Kind of irritating, this was akins to Baal runs in D2 which Blizz encouraged...
Well yesterday was a poor day at mangle's. Too bad they are forcing people only to explore. I do like explorations and stuff, but runs like Baal, Pindle and Mephy was one of the greatest stuffs in D2. They need to learn that some people like to explore, some like to kill infinite waves of mobs and some just like to mindless grind ONE boss. I really hope for this to be a false alarm.
Except Baal runs required you to find Baal, and then kill his minions, and then kill Baal. So basically, this is nothing at all like Baal runs. Fight something other than 1 mob if you want loot.
The kind of thinking that would lead people to call others "scum" due to the way that they play a video game baffles me.
Laziness is laziness, the thought that this only applies to games and not the person baffles me.
@Vishy good, hope you enjoy playing the game it was meant to be played!

...is playing a video game not laziness in and of itself? Yeesh, get over yourself dude.
EDIT:
Well, here ya go:
In Campaign Mode, Manglemaw now only drops loot and gives XP before the player progresses to the Chancellor's Tomb quest
And no fix for %damage bonus on elemental damage weapons. Really lame.

Is it not an activity? Is doing a job like being a gas station clerk not a lazy job in and of itself? Your arguments are pretty shit, why you tryin' bro
What are you, twelve years old? No, a job is not a lazy activity because a job has a meaningful purpose, i.e., putting food in your mouth and providing a service to your community. Video games are not meaningful and have no value outside of recreation. If you don't see the difference between working a job and playing a video game then you're simply not a reasonable person and talking to you is a waste of my time.

Agreed 1000% Even running.. what was that guy just past the first waypoint in D2 Act V? Eldritch the Reaver? Even that involved getting past maybe two trash packs.

Plus Blizzard (by that I mean both Jay and Josh) have been very clear from the get-go that they didn't like the idea of designing a big game and then having 1% of it actually used by the players.
So, if people want to stick their heads in the sand and play dumb, that's all well and good, but by now everyone should know that things like Mira and Manglemaw runs are going to get nerfed because they're a polar opposite to one of the things the team was trying to change about D2 because they felt that it wasn't the right direction to go. Whether anyone agrees with that or not isn't up for debate. The point is the developers have been very clear and very consistent about that general principle.
Captain, sensors indicate a weakening of the dimensional boundaries between this site and The Battlenet Zone. We're already detecting BNet toxins oozing into some of our threads. Structural integrity is unaffected, but that crap is starting to stink the place up.

If it is true, I don't understand it. Why not just remove the checkpoint that makes it possible to speed run.
Leave this game please, you're scum
Get bent.
Yeah its been fixed/nerfed/broken, people have been trying it and its been dropping nothing. RIP Mangle runs.

So deal with it. It's definitely not going away.
