Wanna be a softcore normal barb? Be my guest...that's your choice.
Wanna be a hardcore torment 6 crusader? Be my guest...that's YOUR choice.
Wanna just farm simple things and never really get to end game progression? YOUR CHOICE.
Wanna farm the hardest content and show everyone how strong/badass you are? YOUR CHOICE.
Wanna be the very best like no one ever was? YOUR CHOICE.
Wanna collect all the tmog items quickly in normal not torment? YOUR CHOICE.
Wanna just play the game solo or with friends? YOUR CHOICE.
Bottom Line people....
Don't tell people how to play this game, don't tell people they are wrong for playing the game the way they do it. (Unless its an exploit ofc. :P)
I don't even do normal runs, and I see people literally "freaking" over the fact that people just want to play normal and that's it...
PLAY THE GAME THE WAY YOU WANT PEOPLE!!!!
Does it REALLY bother you that someone plays a lower difficulty then you?
Do you think also bashing people for doing so will create a solution? It won't.
I understand where some of you risk vs reward guys are coming from...I understand why you don't like it but as of right now...I simply cannot even think of even a logical reason why...you should bash/hate lower players for playing what they play on? Maybe they need too? Maybe they want too.
I respect you and you're opinion regardless of what you run and how you do it.
Ladders might bring some big risk vs reward bonuses here soon and maybe we will see an update?
Regardless, Blizzard needs to make the game friendly and fun for everyone. Not just you or me.
Its our game, not just yours or mine.
I apologize if I angered anyone, simply people need to know there's people that don't care how you play a game... as long as you don't cheat lol.
Last time, bottom line: Play the game however you want, seriously go nuts!
Not to be a dick, but most people prefer to maximize dps and toughness, and there's usually a mathematically proven way that beats others. Should everyone be forced to play that mathematically superior spec? Hell no. Is it wrong of us to try to force these ideals on others? Well, that depends. If you're playing solo, I don't care! It's when poorly geared, ignorant people get into your public games where it's a pain. Please learn to differentiate between group and solo play before giving advice like "Let everyone play their own way". If you want to play your own way, please do, but by yourself or with friends. If you're going to be LFG'ing/joining public games/bumming runs off your clan, at least have decent knowledge of your class and gear.

This is why vote kicks exist; if there is someone in your group that you feel isn't properly geared and/or playing in the same style as the rest of you, AND you've already mentioned it and asked them to leave and they haven't, then you can easily get rid of them.

i would choose my own religion and worship my own spirit, but if he ever preached to me i wouldn't want to hear it. i'd drop him, a forgotten god, languishing in shame; and then if i hit stormy seas, i'd have myself to blame.
You can literally never be kicked from a group if you know which events will disallow your party from kicking you. In addition, there's plenty of combat/quest times where you can't be kicked either. Kicking is a long and painful process, and I don't want to go through that trouble for every subpar moron trying to cheese higher difficulties by joining my group.
