Someone in there was essentially making fun of how "slow" Blizzard is, but there are a ton of posts regarding that, so I don't think that was the case.
In addition, an individual (or individuals) reported the post as seen from the icon on the thread, and my guess was that it was deleted without being properly read.
Or perhaps it was misinterpreted as yet another antagonistic post considering it ended as "it was just a dream."
Repost the original topic with the title "patch 1.0.9 Ideas" instead of preview... Its very misleading.
Thats what most likely lead to it being removed.
Yeah, I was about to edit my previous post to make that point.
That actually might be the culprit considering it may or may not have been marked as spreading "false information" about something that could be very real.
And now my post about asking why was it deleted also got deleted. I wonder what will happen if I post it again If I get banned am I going to be able to see who banned me? I dont care, Im willing to take the fall in order to expose the ninja thread remover.
No u wont know, your perms will just progess from a day to a month , 6month, 1 year ....so on.... (i know this for a fact )

So much this.
Just do what you have to in order to make it clear that these are NOT Blizzard's ideas, they're NOT the contents of patch 1.0.9, etc.
If you don't do that it will almost certainly be deleted each time because it's highly misleading.
I'll work on rewording the post later today and hopefully get it back up on the official forums.
I'll change the title and wording so it doesn't resemble a Blizzard representive. It didn't seem like people were getting confused, the title had "a dream" in the title, and I stated it clearly at the end (bolded as well).
Reformatting the post using Blizzard's forum editor actually took me quite a while and I didn't copy/paste the code before it was deleted.
Oh well, more work I guess. I actually enjoyed working on the post and I have some other content I've been working on now for a while in my spare time including a complete re-itemization of every single legendary item in the game. I've only been able to complete the 1 handed weapons category as of right now, but maybe I'll try to push and complete it over the weekend. Obviously I'd have to put that post in more of a video format with all the pictures involved.

Please do. You have my full support. +1 thx again for the hard work
wow......Someone reported your post and they locked it.....
You can't blame Blizzard for wanting to hide examples of how far away they are from expectations.
Seriously, let's refrain from trolling with those kinds of comments. Yes, the ideas are great, but that's not a reason to take free potshots at the developer and turn this into "yet another hate thread".
They only took action to make sure their forum guidelines were being followed, and they have those guidelines for a reason.
I really liked the OP and the ideas it had. I skipped over the Trading Post part, as I didn't do much hardcore D2 playing. In which I mean actually playing, trading, etc. and not the actual hardcore option of only being allowed to die once.
The AH is enough of a beast as is, and if anything another play mode, like ladders or many of the other ideas that people have posted about, that adding to or replacing it would be quite the endeavor.
I really liked the idea to see friends legendary drops (beams) while playing with them, I think that would be really cool. Also the dungeons that encourage exploration would be very awesome. However I usually play on MP1 for efficiency while running around in Archon form, so getting something that was MP6+ would probably be pretty bad. Now, something on MP3/4 wouldn't be too bad, but even then the range of difficulty from MP1 to MP4 is way different than MP10 would be to MP14 if you look at the current scale.
Keep up the great ideas posting though, and it's quite unfortunate that your threads were all deleted or locked on the official forums. =\
Love your ideas OP =D I will have to say though, that I don't agree with the upgrade system you've proposed, mainly because of one flaw; In the short term, it will take items out of rotation because people want to use the different brimstones to upgrade their items, and they want to find their base item to start upgrading. That IS good, we defiantly need to be able to get items out of rotation constantly. The problem stems from the fact that all someone will need with this system is one of each item they want, no matter how badly rolled, and they can eventually make it BiS. This means after a short period, no ones going to want to trade for ANY items anymore, because they already have their potential BiS and all they need is some brims to keep upgrading.
The only iteration of the system that I can see working is a one-time upgrade of a certain stat / re-roll of the entire item, that then makes the item BoA, and it has a chance to roll worse then it was already. This means you're still looking for well rolled drops, instead of just anything so you can salvage and turn into brims.
TLDR; The current proposed upgrade system will mean after a short period, no one will be in need of any more dropped items, and the market will flood. Adding a single-time upgrade (one affix, or whole item re-roll) that then makes the item BoA would be the only way to not create this problem.

I don't know.

They're pretty quick with the ban hammer on those forums.

Bingo, that and the Blizz speak, take it out, make it really YOUR ideas, simple. That's how it's done!

As long as you take out that trading post nonsence. Otherwise you better safe yourself the work.

I like the idea... maybe not as a replacement, but an addition.
It adds nothing but another anonimous trading screen and more complications.

It's pathetic that you'd lump everyone who uses the AH into the same category as gold-buyers. That's stupid and inflammatory and rude.
If you can't make a point without such obviously-wrong generalizations then don't bother saying anything.
I've also added a disclaimer at the top and bottom of the post, hopefully this will suffice. If not I'll have to reword everything from scratch.
Thanks again for everyone's input, and I'm sorry people got banned on the Official Forums because of my post ><.
