I was very busy the lately, but I still got time to flip items on the AH because I enjoy doing so,and because I stacked a huge pile of gold, excluding the giveaways I wanna spend on I want to convert a part on the RMAH,so I was curious what items are still selling on RMAH except the top ones bought for resell.
I would like everyone that sells on RMAH,or tries to do so to post the items with which they succeded here(if they want to) and,I ask the ones who don`t want to share their succes with everyone,to pm me if they found anything that sells well(I`ll even pay if the ask for "a reward" ).
But I hope that I will find people here who want to form a "RMAH sellers community",if it goes well,I`ll probably pm some of you and move a more private space where we can share advanced flipping/ah/rmah tips as I do very good there and I am sure there are others who do the same also.
I`ll start off by listing some of the items that sell decent on the RMAH,there are :
Natalya Bloody Footprints
Any decent rare ring
I'm really curious whether any 1.25 items sell. Considering third party prices and options like radiant gems, that's like what, 25m in the gold AH? With the floor being way too high for both gold and most generic legendary items, RMAH will probably become more and more stagnant except for the really high price items.
Guess the biggest issue with crafting is that it might take you forever to get your desired result. I would imagine that quite a big portion of RMAH buyers don't want to go through that hassle and instead get an instant guaranteed upgrade.
That's a nice sale Jaetch, wouldn't have thought that gloves, bracers still sell.
There are 1.25-1.99 items still selling,I sell a lot of them very fast cause I throw the craps I identify that are decent there instead of selling them for 3-10m.
Sold an 'Odyn Son' yesterday (with socket and +exp) for $3.20 ($2.20 after tax ) woop woop.
Have sold a lot of low end items in the last month (under Lvl 20) as they sell quite nicely and I have some specific items that are doing really well/ have made a nieche
Hmm,guess they sell better than the 60 items.
Are they all mostly with exp or those sell the best but the others also sell?
And as Kakarot said, rares or legendaries?
It feels mandatory to sell with +exp as most people are buying BIS lvl 1-20 gear to lvl fast. They are basically doing so to blitz through the game to inferno as fast as possible and gain the most exp while doing so. So they play MP 10 with +50 exp, 20%+ movement speed and a helm with a socket for 30% +exp. They will also want to have max amount of sockets in item slots so they can add 40+ of a mainstat in each.
Rares such as helms with a socket in the lvl 14-20 range with good stats sell well
Items with increased run speed sell well - cruduest boots, lut socks and one of my favourites sellers was Scrimshaw.
If selling weapons they must have a socket and +exp, +main stat (int is best as 2 classes can use) if between lvl 10-20
Double socket rare chests also sell well with gud stats
A lot of the legendaries between lvl10-20 can be flipped from GA to RMAH..
Just test it out, find some items like the ones above and have a try. I have a new neiche now so can give away this info and not care that you will compete with me anymore
Sold my old Ice Climbers for $250. In terms of third party gold, that's like 3.5 billion gold... but I'm just gonna pocket that cash.
Also sold a pair of high int/vit/AR/armor/2socket rare pants for $40, the equivalent of 550-600M third-party gold... but that's also going into my pocket.
A lot of people, including many on my friends list, compare RM values to current black market gold. This is the reason why a lot of items are instantly listed at 2 billion gold in GAH (cap), while those that exceed the 2 billion value will be listed at max price in RMAH, where the seller will often use the money to convert to gold via third-party gold sellers.
Mid-tier items will be incredibly difficult to sell, just like in GAH because there's a huge supply of them. But hard-to-come-by items, the top-tier ones, will still sell because that's the sellers' market; not many of those items exist and many people want them.
Players that are willing to shop for money just aren't interested in mediocre to low budget items, its pretty much impossible to sell something insignificant for even a few EUR. Flipping isn't my hobby but in the 5 months i've played D3 I have made around 1800€ in profits, most of that when emeralds were worth six times more gold than EUR.
When i've had piles of money and wanted to convert it into real currency I look for:
4+ Crit Mempo of any kind.
4+ Crit trifecta Natalya's ring
Socketed One-handed Axes and Maces with Strength, crit dmg and life steal.
High DPS manticores with crit dmg above 90.
Any of these sell like wildfire all the way from 70€ to 200€.
The trick is not to obsess about price and shop for items that give the most significant benefits. While IK gloves and chests, Skorns and boots of any kind might be good on a logical level, the tooltips aren't attractive enough for players to spend proper money on.
