act 3, more places to go. and resplandecent chests.
Got anything worth from resplended chest since 1.01-1.02 patch? I'm not.
On Monday, I was complaining in trade chat that I don't even get excited when I see Resp. Chests any more... That night, I open one in Act 3, Keep lvl 2, and out pops a Zurimasa's set torso item. I put it on the AH with a minimum bid of 15M, and a buyout of 55M (as a joke). Then someone bought it for 55M... So don't give up on those Resp. Chests! They may pay off.
OT: I do the Alkaiser route, but also add in one circle of Tower of the Cursed... 2-4 Elites in a small area.
I'm farming act 3 with my barbarian now without any mf and only paragon level 5. My wizard is 20 but I'm tired of kiting. I've found more legendaries on characters with LESS mf from random white enemies than anywhere else.
I'll be grinding through act 3 for a while looking for stuff for all my 60s. I don't sell much since I have one of each keeping me poor. Variety is the spice of life you know.

So what about the "better loot" dropping off harder enemies?
Wouldn't that make act 4 loot better quality?
That is true to my knowledge, but the loot tables correspond roughly with the experience. So yes, the harder monsters give better loot, but the Succubi/Tremors/Sorcerers from Act 3 are considered to be exactly the same as everything in Act 4, despite the fact that Act 4 is clearly harder.
