Looks like they want to prevent people from joining games over and over again in rapid succession so that they can farm one spot, one potential treasure goblin, etc. They have said for a while that they want you to play through the game to farm, not simply farm the same room of pots over and over again.

If you actually make the game beatable, then would love to play it thought. You get 1 shot killed regard of stats. When you see a champion pack with unbeatable mods, you cannot even run for it. You will die.
How are you going to run from fast, mortar jailer/waller?

Well, I agree that the design of inferno is not great a the moment, but that is tangential to what we are discussing here. Also, there are in fact people farming act I-IV in inferno, so it is obviously not "impossible" to do.
i LIke that change ! Me as a monk i managed to progress and farm without exploint any goblins on chests ... so stop crying about that .. Just play the game now dont check for the stupid cave 20 times in a minute
Meh, I understand it's purpose but I don't like it. Sometimes I like to play through, other times I like to farm an area. This prevents me from doing that.
It's for the "greater good" and all but lame nonetheless.

I've come for your children - Your first born
I'm the monsta - The boogieman
So mothers be warned - But you give them up gladly
I am farming act 3 of Inferno just fine with my DH, and my Brbarian friend too (after spent some good money to buy a stormshield). The progress is slow, but I kinda expected that. I agree with this change, there were a lot of exploits happening right now that helps breaking the economy (goblin and vases farm, ZK runs for lvl and money)
Hope this is the case. pissing me off with this new "feature"
We also saw it in the first 2 days of launch, alongside Error 37, etc.
Keep in mind that several MILLION auctions are being created, and sold right this second, once the initial "rush" of the RMAH calms down it will stabilize, relax.
Actually, it IS intended. Bravo, Blizzard. Cap some of the people switching games every 30 sec to exploit kill quests, or making yet another goblin farm every 30 seconds. Less lag for people actually playing the game.
We've recently added a limit to the number of games a player can create within a certain amount of time. Players who hit this limit will see the error: "Input limit reached. Please wait to perform more actions." After receiving this error, you will need to wait approximately 10 to 15 minutes before creating any additional games.
This change was made to help reduce server strain and improve overall game stability, and we'll continue to monitor the situation and make additional improvements as necessary. We're currently working to find a solution that allows most players who are playing normally to create games without encountering this error, but will still limit some of the more extreme cases of rapid game creation. We appreciate your patience as we make these adjustments.

Thank you!
Great news, I'm surprised they didn't implement this earlier.
Same crap as with d2 I guess, huh?
I don't like this "feature", not necessary because of farming (never done those goblin runs etc) but because of something that was definitely intended by blizzard: achievements. I don't know how you'll be able to complete f.e. wheel of misfortune without creating LOTS of games.
You shouldn't need to keep creating new games within minutes of each other for that.
I wish SO...so so so so so so bad they would LISTEN to the community istead of RUINING this game completly.
This is ... I cant even put words on it.. Its so bad allready, why make it even worse??
Whats so bad about forcing people to play/experience the game content?
I seriously doubt that blizzard's goal was for people to make a game every 30 seconds so they can run after a goblin or destroy 20 jars.

This input limit will not solve the problem of botting. They can just add (random) delay and botting will continue. Just at a slower pace.
How about making an incentive to reward people who play the game as it is intended for.
Nice open ended letter on a gaming website that is - in no way - affiliated with Blizzard.
Umadbro?

You mean they want us to actually PLAY the game? Perish the thought!
Any idea what the maximum # is?

What is the actual input limit?

lol, classic, the community rages out over something thats not even a thing......
BTW, I had seen "Input Limit Reached" 2 weeks ago, I waited a few minutes then never saw it again, its the server getting overloaded, nothing more.
We also saw it in the first 2 days of launch, alongside Error 37, etc.

I don't think chain game-making is the way the game's intended to be played champ
