LoooL Strafe = DH's WW counterpart to the Barbs WW
I think the consensus in beta that strafe was underwhelming. Granted, I thought it was fun as hell spinning around wrecking things, but hatred was better spent on other abilities.
I'm pretty sure strafe killed bunch of mobs there...
You might go to ophthalmologist to check your eyes and get some nice glasses then watch this clip once again.
I would have personally said optometrist...since that's who you go to for spectacles...but...yeah...I guess going to a specialist for eye disease and what not would work too? lol?

When Strafe was around in beta, it wasn't very capable of killing much. Not saying that it couldnt, but it felt weak compared to most other AoE skills.

I think he's referring to the part that by the time the mobs were dead you would have gone through two full orbs of hatred compared to anything else that would have done it in 1/3 of one orb.
Slow time is the video I enjoyed the most.

Well at my place you get all in one package and that specialist is called "Okulista".... that what Google translator translated when I typed "Okulista" in there... god damn, you can't even troll normally these days :/
Anywayz, it seems to me that that skill might be useful in situations like "Jar of Souls" or something like that
See - I didn't know about the difference between our areas :P. I just know that I have to go to an optometrist to get spectacles here. It's a way to get more monies out of you :(..
I just repeated vid few times and read rune bonuses...(http://us.battle.net...r/active/strafe)
On animation it looks that DH is shooting all around her and that only small percentage of arrows fired hit mobs (that's what I tough so far how this skill works) , but if you look closely you can see that arrows actually fly ONLY to enemies...it attacks random enemies, yes, but if there is more mobs around you it seems that 100% skill ends up in mobs...
And if you add some nice rune... might actually be quite powerful later on
There's actually a large discussion about the true use of this ability in an old thread some where, but the main idea that most can agree on its a utility spell that can be used to slowly get away from danger and provide small amounts of damage in the mean time... and destroy environments.
I still think from a damaging perspective almost any other ability is more efficient in resource cost. You are also correct that the more mobs there are the more the arrows hit a mob compared to environment but that also means you have that many targets that won't be hit multiple times, basically you hit everything on the room once for small amounts of damage.

Strafe will be good when it throws grenades and possibly in it's rocket version to kite and kill most bosses. But actually I doubt this game will be that easy Can't wait for inferno .
Seems that the news team missed new class skill videos. they are:
IHAVE TO TYPE IN BNET ON MY OWN rawrrabblerage
ty =D
Edit; The environment that strafe is in is one of my all time favorites I've seen from D3 so far. A super detailed desert scene, I love it =D

props to d3online.org it seems
Edit: make that props to incgamers. looks like d3online.org took this vid and covered the logo

I liked the part where nothing died....
You have already seen most if not all of them if you played beta and watched the intro class movies.
A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!

Not really... I did try it there, I maybe killed one or two mobs and I had no hatred left, this was with crafted weapons before the Beta nerf.
