I probably will not take time off... I have a big boy job... and they probably won't be happy about me taking work off for a video game...
This is so perfect that it redefines the word entirely! HHHHHHHHHH-HEH! THAT just made my week again lol!
Thinking about taking the whole week. I would feel so guilty though. Taking a vacation but never actually going anywhere? Hmm, how to kill a conscience?...
put my request in for that week as well...now just hoping the new imac is released in time otherwise i will be gaming on my laptop at release until it does
Made a thread about this earlier this morning actually. My casino is closing on April 30th and I have another job lined up starting May 25th, so I've got at least 10 days straight.
School gets out for me on May 4th and I plan to quit my job on the 14th to get ready for a move. Everything went better than expected.

My place really was here. I was too foolish and stubborn to notice. But, what I truly hoped for then was here. Why do I always realize it When I've already lost it.

I do it all the time. I mean, if it was a football game, and your favorite team was playing in the superbowl and you got free tickets to see them play but had to fly out of town to see them play it'd be okay. So why not stay at home and have a "stay-cation" to play Diablo 3? Nothin wrong with that.
The only thing diablo won't skrew with is my workouts. 5 day/week cardio and 5 day week lifting only takes an hour or less out of each day. I might be downing more shakes than usual just so I have to prepare less food. Church can kiss my anus for a few weeks along with any other social obligations I have. I am currently unemployed because I hated my $8-10/hr jobs and plan on going back to school starting in the summer so I can't really take off work, but it will still be something of a vacation for me nonetheless.

Same lol workout is my number one priority , i dont wanna get fat again like i was back went i played WoW hardcore hehe .
I won't be taking days off from work, spending them sitting in front of a computer 24/7 , stuffing my face with pizza, fries, soda and sweets, laying waste to whatever progress I've been had with weightloss and general health at the local gym for the past 6 months.
I'm really looking forward to the game coming out, having spent my childhood playing D1 and D2.
But I'm grown now, and can't take such liberties anymore. Besides, I have a son on the way, expected in three weeks time. I can only guess how happy the miss would be finding me neglecting our first spawn, spending every second on a video game (and frankly, I couldn't blame her).
I spend about 1-4 hours a day on the couch watching telly shows or whatever is on, I can see these hours being spent in front of the computer instead.
*reminiscing my teenage years in a smelly basement, looting and demon slaying along with my pals all summer long*
