I am playing adventure mode. Can't get online to update so have store bought game. And a Nemisis shows up. In not online and no friends list. Why is this happing.
I have not had a single person play with me. I beat RoS and played adventure mode. Died a few times. Then was playing heard trumpet sound the a red portal showed up with Nemisis and a shadow female barb. In a female barb. It happened a second time and there was him and two female barbs.. It says local only. But I don't have internet access so it can't be anyone but me.
Well it showed up again. Its scary when u hear those trumpets. It scared the hell out of me. All I felt was the rumbling of my controller then it pops for a third time with him and 3 female barbs. I had a surprise, as soon as they appeared me and my 3 anseter barbs took out all four. Won't

I guess you're playing on console ?
Yes. And i read online that it happens in online play on console but did not think it would happen offline. My barb died lots of timed. Hehe
Honestly it’s near impossible to get a sound answer for you on diablofans. 99% are PC players. A few on Mac and a few on console.
Best at place to get an answer is battlenet.

Weird.... I started the ps4 version offline forever until seasons came along and have never had this.
What console are you on?
Xbox 360 it happened again and a Diablo figure came and two fallen barbs. And I'm a barb. Was him and one laser time in playing RoS adventure mode
Did some looking around, and you're not alone. Did you have anyone play coop (local?)? If so, it may be from them.

Its totally normal if a Nemesis is spawning even offline. If you die, your own Nemesis spawns in offline mode.

Nemesis spawns when you die or a friend dies. You need to kill it or it kills you, so it spawns again. He drops good loot though.
