I was wondering if someone could clarify something for me.
Do Primal Ancients provide any additional benefits percentage wise when it comes to the LoN set bonus? Or do they still only provide an additional %100 dmg and %4 dmg reduction per item?
I know the set text doesn't specify if Primal and non-Primals differ, but I swear I remember reading or hearing something saying Primals receive additional bonuses.
Update: upon further investigation, and some digging through reddit, it looks like Primal Ancients do NOT gain any additional bonus. Which I guess makes sense.
not sure why every one is so hyped up on primals there just the same as ancients the only item you need as primal is the main weapon everything else is pointless getting primal you're ancients will be far quicker and easyer to farm than primals with the stats you need
I don't think you actually thought this through.
Primals are pretty much imperative on the LoN bomb and LoN Frenzy Barb now. Think about it, for each piece that can roll thorns you WILL HAVE a perfect 9500 thorns dmg. You cannot get a perfect 9500 with a regular ancient unless you have a lot of mats or extremely lucky.

Gives me a reason to grind out and enjoy actually obtaining gear in the game. Instead of worrying about paragon tbh.
Primals are are huge disappointment, the whole allure and justification for the rareness is supposed to be that the item is perfect, but they can roll with crap affixes so that isn't even remotely the case. Blizz should let us reroll as many affixes as needed on primals.
Tgey dont give bonzses, you get betger legendary effect rolls tho. But no, it doesnt make any sense. We have a set that ia directly tied to item rarity, if blizz had any balls they would have added some small bomuses on primal equip for lon.
The thing is, they tried to make them better, and people didn't want that (and rightly so, would make leaderboards dependant on really rare and random things.... primal weapon? Bad luck, no high rifts for you)... For exactly that reason, buffing LoN would also be horrible
1) OPs question was answered by himself - there's no primal LoN buff.
2) I'm closing the thread because the question was answered and the potentially interesting side discussion became toxic (had to delete a bunch of posts which were out of line). Stay civilized, folks!

Feel free to correct me though.
