i see someone easily getting to 60 in the first day. if it only takes you 1 hour to get to lvl 10... (which i know the first levels are obviously fast) playing from morning till night would most likely get you AT LEAST into the 50's i think. if not all the way to 60. i plan on taking energy shots, staying up all night, doing whatever i gotta do.
seems like your all just arguing with each other over something none of you know....
...do i think it will be achievable in one day? maybe, maybe not. if i stayed up for a strait 24 hours without moving. i think its not some insane stretch to think 24 hours of constant gameplay by someone who knows wtf to do could get there or close. i think a better estimation is 2-3 full days of playing...

keep up the hilarity
OBVIOUSLY after getting everyones opinion (which is why you post something in the first place is it not?) i came to a different conclusion. thats the whole reason for posting asking for people to talk with you about something. so keep up the hilarity with not knowing what a forum is for. lulz
you forget some stuff.
you cant spam pots, so unless you have good survivability, mobs/bosses gonna rape you. if you have bad dps, it will take to long to drop its hp, and get health orbs. for many mobs you might not get orbs at all. especially in hell you must kill alot of mobs fast, to be able to heal.
you cant instantly TP to safety.
i somewhat doubt your pets gonna be able tank very well in hell. pet druid isnt very viable in d2 you know.
AI improves at higher lv, so mobs gonna ignore melees, and go for ranged chars, use ranged atks. they will use teamwork tactics etc.
mobs are gonna be faster, so it will be hard to kite. you wont be able to spam vault forever, since discipline regen slow, and you cant pot it like d2.
unless you find good gear, you're gonna do low damage, take lots damage, and killing mobs gonna take long time=no orbs.
in d2 it was easy to get ok gear from boss grinding. you cant do that in d3. so it will take longer to gear up.
if you expect to be first, you cant find good gear on AH, cause most ppl will be maybe half your lv.
if you go for xp items you can lv faster theoretically, but your dps will be lower. so you wont kill so fast=less orbs.
you expect to get all the right optimal gear/runes right away.
you expect to easily cap all artisans (major goldsink) to beef you up into OP DPS
you expect you wont die much (gold sink to repair items)
you expect it all to go very quickly, just cause ppl breeze through small part of act1.
it's not realistic to expect normal to take less than 6hrs just cause some ppl can kill Leoric in 40min. we know NOTHING about how long act1 will take. we know NOTHING about any other acts. for all we know, act1 might take 6 hrs!
remember act3 in D2? it alone could take hours. doing it alone in hell would be more than super annoying.
etc.
ofc party will have much easier time.
but i hope act1 alone takes 100hrs, to freak you rushers out
uhm... lol? i didnt forget anything at all. i know all the new aspects of D3. and i considered all of them. and WD pets will be viable through inferno and 10x better then anything from D2. so its NOT like diablo 2. every single possible build should be viable in the game, unlike d2, where most of entire tree's were useless. like the druid summoning tree. that game is almost 12 years old. this game is changing EVERYTHING. so comparing ANY aspect in this game to d2 is moronic and pointless.
and i did NOT say anything about "expecting" ANYTHING, especially not epic gear or artisans. wow your posting a lot of trollness for no reason and with nothing to back it up.
I ain't even mad, not in the slightest. I just woke up on a sunday morning with clear skies, had 3 pancakes with maple syrup, took a good shit and sat down in front of my pc. I'm totally at peace.
if your intention is to actually have a debate. the one thing you should definitely not do is fill your reply with hate, flaming, and trollness. which i read the entire post and every paragraph had a bit of all 3. it not only makes you look like a child, it is also against forum rules. so if you want to have an ACTUAL debate, post without the hate.
You're misinterpreting my posts, trust me if I was flaming you, you wouldn't be in doubt and my posts would be deleted. I've spoken to the mod here on several occasions, and if I step over the line he'll delete my posts as he usually does. There's a difference betwen flaming/trolling/hating and honesty/criticism/debunking.
well ignoring your obvious flaming (name calling rudeness), and out of sheer boredom. ill bite.
your implying that i said a lot of things that i didn't. never said i would be able to have some super build right off the bat. first run through normal will get me the runes i want because its been said the rune drop rate is gonna be pretty huge for low lvl runes. and even if i don't ill rework my build with what i get. the possibilities for good builds is near infinite as you know. and I've made countless builds on the skill calc so i know exactly what SEEMS to be the best for leveling. OBVIOUSLY all in theory. i am a great player, no need to bash on what i was saying because its true and by no means a great feat. if you couldn't do that then its pretty sad and your a baddie. which I'm sure your a great player as well and could do the same. so lets just ignore that.
a big thing that you implied was inferno. did i say ANYTHING about beating inferno? no, in fact i said the opposite, the entire speculation of this thread is "leveling to 60 and how fast" NOTHING to do with inferno. so gtfo of here with inferno and hell gear. you won't need hell gear to beat hell, thats redundant. it will be difficult to beat but not impossible, i ALSO said that if its too hard to beat the last bosses of hell with the gear you've acquired then just repeat the hell content you CAN beat to level to 60.
considering this thread is speculating on the time frame of beating the game comparing it to the time it takes to beat the beta, but adding up the times for an entire norm run, and then times 3 for each difficulty there after, i see nothing insane about that calculation and assumption of the length of the game. it could possibly be less then triple the amount of time of each difficulty before it.
for all you or anyone knows i could get super lucky and find some awesome awesome shit through my first play through, OR find nothing at all, its random therefor it completely depends. but for all anyone knows it won't take good gear to GET to 60, to farm with ease and/or beat inferno YES, but just leveling? i don't think so, that would be ridiculous to need awesome gear JUST for getting to max level. (please don't compare it to D2, completely different leveling system then lvl 99 cap)
