I just copied in on the PTR in order to play with some build ideas, that means of course no seasonal toons anymore. I went to make the legendary shoulder Corruption for the +7 range on pickup, a slot item I've made several times in past seasons. When the armor choice popped up while selecting Corruption at the blacksmith, I noticed that the ranges was NERFED from +7 down to the usual secondary roll of +1 to 2 - making this leg essentially worthless.
Just copied in, so I want some confirmation from someone in Seasonal PTR and another check on non-season PTR to see if indeed Corruption is nerfed, then some loud voices over at the fablous devs website, ye olde Blizzard are needed too.
there is no "damned if they do, damned if they do not" situation here.
Oh, you mean they had to do 'something' because of all the endless whiners chanting "Joey is better than me, that's no fair, NERF HIM!!!"
This game is a lemon and I want my money back
I'm not sure why you're quoting or replying to me. I wasn't talking to you or excusing blizzard's shit ass equipment design nerfs/buffs on a whim that make no sense.
Most of the nerfs won't make sense to solo players because they're being made because of group play. Solanium was nerfed because a support could keep the damage dealing wizard buffed with resource constantly. Now this nerf is probably made beause a support with enough globe bonus and a large enough pick up radius can circumvent that nerf, for example.

because he or anyone can quote whomever they please. It doesn't matter if you were talking to him or not. He has an opinion, and he gave it to you.
It's an odd nerf as this hits LON builds the most which are almost exclusively used in solo laddering.
LON bomb for example gains alot from the 7pur since it's hard to gain pur with thorns oj everything.
LON doctors also. To the person saying this is because of group play I say no, it's a nerf directly to thtee of the strongest solo builds and it's really disappointing as that was this items unique quality. This nerf drives set dependency even more. The opposite of what most of us want.

don't care
Clearly.
What an arrogant little gnat.
But clearly he does care. He took the time to respond to someone. And he got severely offended. And now tries to blow it off like some tough little kid. Evidence is there. And it's all against him
I don't even understand what's going on LOL. I was actually asking why the dude initially responded to me. Since I was responding to someone else and his response didn't make sense as I think he misunderstood my first statement. What I had meant by "there is no damned if they do, damned if they don't situation here" is that D3's devs aren't doing shit. period.
Ironic that I'm in a damned if I do, damned if I don't situation here, isn't it? There's this older generation of diablo players that thinks they're fucking smart, but there is no intellect in age. If you're a dope, you either learn not to be a dope or stay a dope. Not my business what you do.

crafted few with int and dex for future. this neft shows how retarded they are
Or they are going to turn this item into something else in the future, and based on limited use are slowly working to change it now.
Damned if they do, damned if they do not.
