Just dropping by to let y'all know that one of our best Barbs, Archael, has taken the #1 Solo Barb EQ spot world-wide, clearing a 97 in 14:47 with Fire EQ.

There are many players, myself included, who do not like Seasons. In my opinion, all Seasons do is divide the greater player base into incompatible modes and attract the least-informed and most toxic players.
It's fine if you prefer seasons. No matter what, this is a legit accomplishment from a player I know and trust. No bots, no THud, nothing. Just a lot of build innovation, skill, and GR fishing.

just try to clear 97+ with barb - build no matter, season/ns - you may choose, and then say smth about this record, as for now, don't make me laugh with your 70 gr for seasonal journey

You, too, can have lots of paragon if you play efficiently and stop pubbing. The player in question achieved that level by playing efficiently since Paragon was introduced. He's also played legit the entire time -- no bots, no THud, no third party software. And considering that the current EQ builds are weaker than Raekor (which will change dramatically next patch), this is quite an accomplishment.

What did i miss, i dont see any "dramatically" change at all for EQ and Raekor next patch ?
EQ hasn't changed unless you count the new Girdle, which I don't think is viable.
But the changes to CC have nerfed Raekor into the ground. Two charges = total CC immunity = no Parthans = dead.

Pls guys, we are one community. Ofc the same rank in season is always better than ns. And i personally have no interest in ns. But the community is so small, we gotta stay on the same side. If someone does 97 with eq. Ns it still deserves some prop, while he should mention in title that its ns.
But pls stop flaming each other for playing one or the other randomly.
As a barb and MotE user, I must say this is fantastic result. Anything 95+ with this set is amazing, I am happy to see that there are MotE players with such high clears.

My brain apparently wasn't working this weekend. Took me 2 days to realize there's a barb thread in General Discussion. Moved to barb forums ;-)
Also, this is absolutely amazing, I love that people are just like "meh meh meh meh I don't like the current #1 meta spec" and then someone shows that they were all following the wrong white rabbit. I wonder what other builds for other classes we didn't see. I have a feeling that monk could've been much higher and much better this season, but there are hardly and monk players left who really push the boundaries. Or DH. Or Crusader. But that's the wrong forum for that ;-)
WW and EQ are the only builds i really enjoyed for all these years. I remember i watched Alkaizer doing Khazra Den and Hellrift runs endlessly with his EQ jumping barb.
