He who learns must suffer. And even in our sleep pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.

some people feel WOW is a dissapointment, yet millions of people play it, why would D3 be any different, just because some people dislike it doesnt mean others will and they will buy/play it.
I will buy it first chance it get so long as its free to play online if not i might hold off for a while at least. till my work load frees itself up.
yea, i personally love WoW but i know that alot of people feel that the graphics and just the whole look of the game in general is too cartoonish, which is actually something i like about it. i got a feeling the might go in a different direction with D3. But im sure that for WoW haters... this is a big concern. so you won't buy D3 on the release day if its pay to play???
pay to play requires more time to play than something thats free.
if i only play say a few hours a month is that worth the fee? and what if i dont play at all one month i still have to pay. sure im paying for security, content and uh whatever else, but still i much rather prefer how LOD works, you buy the game and you play (for free) you dont even need an internet connection to enjoy LOD,
also New zealand get games/dvds/movies/books later than the rest of the world, so yeh i wont get it the same time you would.

Well, as for what I would do pertaining to this site, I'd probably just keep coming and we'd all do the same shit, only Elfen and Silver would also have to delete random "Diablo 3 sucks!" threads, or we can ignore them the same way we ignore HG:L threads nowadays.
hmmm i wonder if we will have D3 haters on the site after the release
probably, i get sick of those threads, thats both all the HG:L = D3 threads and anti D3 threads, how can you be anti something that doesnt exist?

in terms of say a game or novel. religion wise its easy to be anti somthing that doesnt exist.
how can you dislike a game that doesnt exist?

SCII uses Battle.net 2.0 which are both free to use/play. WOW: WOTLK also use Battle.net 2.0, but only the game incurrs a fee.
not sure if WOW uses Battle.net 1.0 or 2.0.

Well if blizzard suddenly changes their mind and SC2 gets monthly fees, then D3 will also get monthly fees... but if SC2 stays free there is still much hope for us yet
pay to play RTS? thats a bit extreme dont you think?
Diablo3 wont be pay to play, but a MMO set in the diablo universe might.

WotLK is WoW expansion, I think it'll stay in the WoW system. And as for WoW, I think it has its own dedicated network, seeing as its an MMO. Battlenet is a network for multiple games to communicate through, SC players can talk to Diablo players and so on. So if Battlenet 2 comes out it will be for all games that aren't MMO, such as Diablo, SC, and the WC rts games.

It was a joke, a bad one at that
The same one that Starcraft 2 will use maybe?
Will Starcraft 2 cost monthly?
I would probably pay to play Diablo 3 is there were game cards like WoW
