9. pvp needs to be way different, ppl should drop 1 of their weilding items if u kill them.
That just sounds like a lot more of the same. I think they will do that no matter what. But I would vote for a graphic update. Some 3-d models and what have you, real time lighting (with spell effects, this could own). I certainly agree with the more classes.
I also don't think it should be such a numbers game. Perhaps a bit more skill involved....(ie: not just running a barb through with whirlwinds and an invo full of heals.)

I could see them possibly revamping a lot of them, maybe even making some new ones, but to do a full out complete new list would probably not a good idea, but then again, it would add some mystery as to what would be the best items and such.
2: Immunities in hell. This presented an interesting challenge to all classes. I actually like the immunities bit as it gives Hell that difficulty edge where Nightmare did not. Sorc's weren't the only ones that felt the sting. Necro's Skel mages felt the sting too. I'd say leave it in and leave the challenge.
3: 1 Good build? Your kidding me right? There are about 2 good builds to each class, with a possible 3 for a few. It's all in how you build them. Skill and strategic planning is the key.
4: I haven't ran into any "Souls of" Monsters, but if they are poweful, its to provide a challenge. Everyone knows that in Normal and Nightmare, once you got to a certain point, the lvl wasn't challenging anymore and thus is was far to easy to just walk around, wacking everything with one shot. More powerful monsters=more power items=more challenges=more fun.
5: I agree with you here. I think they should add in a couple more classes. I had heard rumors of Diablo 2 having an Angel and Demon type classes, but they ended up being false. Something else to add on here would be Sex selection. After you pick your class, pick which sex you wanted to be. I'm sure a lot of males found it annoying to play a sorc or an assassin as a female. Not that I am discriminating against females, I'm just saying let there be a choice between the two.
6: Personally, I think 3 skill tabs is enough. You only have so many skill points to spread around. If you give a person too many options, they end up spreading themselves too thin that they won't be effective enough. I could possibly see one extra skill tab, but I don't think it's going to happen. Although a magic tab would be interesting.(I'm starting to think you play a sorc.)
7: Diablo 2 and LoD presented us with a total of 5 acts. Thats pretty big if you ask me. Though, I think for a couple they could have been longer or better done(Act 3 is a really good example, since its THE most confusing act of the game.) I do like the quests where you get to add things like the imbue, socket and Personalize quests. Those were a good idea, along with the skill quests. I would say, add on a couple more quests to each act and that should suffice, unless you want to have a 4-5 disc game(Balder's Gate anyone?).
8: This probably goes along with my reply to the first one. Not really too sure what else to say on this other than if they did come out with new ones, it would add more mystery. More rune words would definately be a neat idea.
9: I disagree with this. Why? Because of the pking that goes on. Unless they developed a system of a duel question popping up where both agree, having your opponent drop a weilding weapon is a horrible idea. You finally get that one weapon you've been striving for and all of a sudden you get bs'd by someone more powerful than you, he kills you and takes your weapon. Now your weapon is lost and you have a bad taste in your mouth, and possibly may quit the game. Thats not very far is it? The way they have the duels is good enough unless they improve on the pk aspect and attempt to stop it, though highly undoable.

I think there is no reason why people shouldnt have 4 skilll tabs...it just makes the game itself more unique, creative, and different. You even said it in #6....spreading your skills to thin wont make u effective enough.
4. The souls i was talking about are Burning souls, usually found in worldstone lvls and baal throne...i see these things 1 hit sorcs and amazons like nothing...and ive seen them in groups of 10-15.

If you atk someone....then they kill you lose some "stuff" d3 can decide what. D2lod just dropping gold when you kill someone and getting some flimsy ear worth nothing is stupid...why? three reasons
A. Gold is only good for pot buying or gambling, you can easily good 1mil gold by doing a cow run.
B. The ear doesnt prove anything....oo a lvl 86s ear! big whoop, i can get a character to lvl 86 in 1 day baalin.
C. Theres no pride in killing someone.....o you killed me big whoop its just a game...if your gonna brag about some kill you made on a game, stupid. Grow up.
i think they should make OPTIONAL quests...they should be harder and very long...but when u complete the quest you will gett a magical or uniq item that is imposible to find duaring the game....make many of them in each act
there should also be more city's....more quests.....more monsters.....bigger world....
There should also be more characters....and each race ex barbarian: will have genders female/male.Each 1 of them will have different kind of style and different magic.....
The spells should show AoE like spells in WC3 TFT. In diablo 2 since i was a dueler/pk in hc i wanted to always see how far my attacks would go. If youve played The Frozen Throne or Warcraft 3 you will understand. I made a request for this back when LOD came out but im just 1 person And of course their going to have more items etc... duh. otherwise it would just be a copy Diablo I -> Diablo II lol look at all the diffrence there. And PVP should be more focused on i think when they made it in diablo II they just gave hostility and hm.... an ear? And also it should be much harder... thats why i dueled everything else had been done to death. OH! And quests / miniquests / optional quests should give RANDOM things like the rare items whatsherface gives in act5. That would make it cooler and i think the towns should be more exciting... people talking to people.... once in a while theirs an attack on the place... you know

Definately more, longer, bigger, better is good! and i mean that goes from storyline to characters to items etc. but definately something a long the lines of a bigger inventory pack as ur gonna have lots more items in D3, better graphics, animation and definately a tad less emphasis on repetition and a tad more on skill, technique and strategy probably? Id definately like heaven to be there as a setting, as we already visit hell and wouldnt mind having more than one body guard etc or mercenary u can hire etc. Any suggestions on that?
captain alaska, i agree with you completely. i really hope that d3 will be alot more skill based. though i do disagree with you that say d3 should be 3d. i like the 2d, just work on getting different models for each weapon and stuff like that. just improve the art work but don't switch to 3d, please.

I highly disagree with this and i'll tell you why. I have a mf sorc on D2LOD with roughly 480 mf that can take atleast 20 hits from souls before she goes down. All you need is a tgods and an umed ss. Max your resist and they really aren't that bad. What I hate are the vipers that eat your merc in about 2 hits. Those things do a rediculous amount of damage with some stun attribute that makes teleporting to baal fairly difficult.
As far as different things in D3, as long as it isn't a carbon copy of D2 or WOW I will be happy. And it better be free. The only reason I don't play WOW is because it isn't free.
the lv cap of 99 should be increased just make it insanely hard to lv up after 99 gives poeple a reason to play the same character more
random skills for each character each character has tons of skills but when u create the character u only get random skills. so no character will be exactly alike.
better way of joining games organize it easier to find a game ur looking for. be able to find normal games when ur in hell mode.
stop people from rushing! make people actually enjoy the game and story

I wouldnt mind if they charged us to play, if it is really needed for them which i doubt, but to keep the price low, maybe like MAX $5/month. But FREE would be the best.
if they charge per month to play i will not buy it! if u wanna play that stuff they have wow. diablo has always been free and should stay free. i think alot of diablo fans wouldnt buy it if its pay per month.
