Hey folks... Chuckmate here. With the current community bounty buff, what strategies are you using to do your bounties?? Split bounties in Groups? Do you pick up mats along the way or run straight to the objective? Do you farm the key wardens before you re-make the games?? What does everyone do? Weigh in!
The most effective would be to splitfarm in a group with speed builds (Manajuga WD, Uliana Monk with In-Geom, WW Barbs, etc.) and skip all non-essential mobs, and not pick anything up except for Death's Breath and legendaries.
Key Wardens you could kill if you run into them, but going out of your way to find them will slow you down. Picking up things will leave you without bagspace for all bounty bags unless you periodically go to salvage things, which again will slow the group down.
I kill elites, and thats about it. only pick up death breath, since I kill them in 1 hit with seven sided strike. Then I don't bother pick up blues or yellow because in the end of the run you have filled your entire stash with caches and have 250 yellow and 400 blues. takes about 10 min for 5 acts, but.. that is if the group is proper...
With the inconsistency of groups, there really is no strategy. Just split farm as fast as possible and keep the games rolling. Spending 10 minutes to get a team together for 5 rounds each 2 minutes faster than a standard pug makes no difference. Just play. Up to 300 mats myself, shooting for 1000 by the end of the weekend. And yes I'm running chicken doc.
I split farm T7 and run a Chicken Doctor. Pretty much always head straight for the goal, sometimes I'll pop out of chicken and kill some stuff if there's like a big ole thick mob with a boss or keywarden, but usually just straight ahead.
If there's no more acts in the current bonus act that aren't being wrapped up by someone else, I'll start a bounty or 2 in any other Act and finish those up until we find the next bonus and I'll head over there.
I do splits in a group, sometimes with a couple of friends, sometimes with people from splitfarm communities. Sometimes solo as well, if I feel like it. Sometimes you get a good group, sometimes not. Best results are obviously with an organized group of people geared specifically to speed bountys.
I play a Thousand Storms Monk with tons of RCR, I can't stand relying on In-Geom for bountys. Its REALLY fast when travelling in a straight line or if you know, where to go, but Malthael on T7 in a 4 player game takes a while, damage is not the highest. Also lag, closed doors, undashable obstacles or narrow pathways slow you down a lot, to the point, where a fast movespeed character can catch on. On open maps without obstacles, the speed is unmatched, though, its not even close.
Usually starting with Act 5, because of the insane travel distance required for a lot of the quests there. In a fast group, my mates usually finish the other acts in about the same time I need to solo Act 5.
Vyr's Wizard with In geom is pretty good. No cooldown teleport finds objectives incredibly fast while chotando's pulses wipe out mobs instantaneously. Although I now have chicken available to me so I use that... its just so fast.
