I have been playing solo for quite a while, but noticed the monster density was significantly more while playing a public multiplayer game the other night.
Did I leave my tin foil hat on, or is the mob density greater in multiplayer compared to solo?
I haven't noticed that so far, but there also may the RNG come in play. Try to do a little bit more testing. Maybe you had just a really good MP game running there
Usually with higher HP in multi you tend to notice the mobs a lot more. When your partner is a bit off screen you fight monsters for longer and they pile up in bigger packs. Could be that.
