Things like;
- Life steal taking an -80% hit in inferno
- Armor and resists being 10:1 for highest efficiency
- Off hand attacks;
~If you have a 200 dps weapon in your mainhand and a 100 dps weapon in your offhand, you get a 15% swing speed buff, but you're switching swings in between a good and terrible weapon. As a result your dps actually goes down to around 170-175.
What are some other not so well known things in Diablo 3 that may be unknown to newer players?
proc coefficients of spells for things like chance on hit and life on hit.
how the weapon damage% is calculated on various skills
some skills has (weapon min-max damage * primary stat) and other skills (takes weapon min-max damage * primary stat * attack speed) this is not clear.
that the run speed increese is caped at 25% (some speed increasing skills allows for greater increase)
slow effects is reduced by a % vs elites in all difficultys (20% norm, 30% nightmare and 40% in hell and inferno.

I would add to that; If you Dual Wield and one weapon has IAS (or higher IAS), then your attack speed is calculated separately for each hand. This is confirmed by your attack speed display on your details page. Hold shift and left-click and watch it change.
Also, Monks using sweeping wind; The DPS that your SW does is calculated via your weap. If you Dual Wield, it will calculate the DPS for SW based on whatever hand is up for the next attack. i.e. make sure you don't activate SW if you DW with a weak off-hand weap.
does anyone know where you can get a full list of proc coefficients? I can only find such a post for Wizards here, which makes planning things out for my Witch Doctor a bit of a pain.

Could be considered a bit off-topic, but I'll help you out on this one (it is a sort of tip in the end).
