It was giving 90k XP and 2.5k gold before 1.0.2 and now it is like 20k and 400 gold I can't remember exactly because I stopped doing it after the nerf, (yes you can still get double the XP with the leave/join exploit), but not overly effective for 50+ lvl'ing anymore. 180k as opposed to 40. Better off just running around leeching xp off your power character friends
