I just wonder if anyone got charge for sale tax because I purchased an item for $14.50 and got charge a sale tax of $1.20(which is Texas 8.25 sale tax)?
"Tax laws vary by region, and it's possible that you may be required to pay tax on income you collect from real-money auction house sales. Certain states also impose a sales tax on all digital purchases, which is collected at the time a player purchases an item from the real-money auction house. Check your local tax regulations or consult a tax advisor for more information."

Yeah, if you get charged tax on stuff, blame your state, not Blizzard. They're just complying with the laws to keep themselves out of trouble.
Given that it involves lawyers and accountants, I'm still impressed that they're only taking a 15% cut.
Yeah, I thought keeping ~82% on items and ~67% on commodities after Paypal takes their cut, too, wasn't bad, considering all you're doing to get it is playing the game. They're supplying the factory, the storefront, and the customers.

Yes, blame Texas for having no state tax. That darn state not charging us an annual tax based on our income, I just wish they would find some way to charge the lowest amount of tax possible without outside factors effecting the total tax. Shucks! /sarcasm
Those of you not being charged a sales tax in other states, enjoy having to include your RMAH sales on your [insert state here] income tax return!

Not sure what your problem is. I didn't even get into state versus state. I was just pointing out that if Blizzard's charging tax, it's because a state law is making them do so, and not to get unhappy at Blizzard.

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the state line today?
FFS man, he didn't even say Texas.

Texas must be one of those states.
