Just to clearify, I am a bit ignorant towards how Blizzard is setting up Diablo 3 servers.
I rented a D3 Beta account for $4, to play for 24hrs. Safe to say I did nothing for 24hrs. But
while playing the Beta I noticed fast "MF*" areas, which I was running fairly easy, Lv13 + Geared.
*Quoted MF because its normal, but potentially might be worth while in Hell.
I also exit/joined 30+ games within 15 minutes just looking for the most damage+stat weapons I
could find. Just because skeleton king was never dropping anything worth while.
I ask simply because, after not playing D2 for a few days. I logged in to transfer a few keys for
Uber, I exit the first game and got a temp ban. No botting and I have 6 different IPs I use
to avoid temp bans, also using 2 computers.
Some of you appear to be good at predicting things, plus know more about the mechanics of
how the game runs. Give me your thoughts/opinion.

What? could you explain this. What do you mean 30 different games for best weapons? where at?
To OP, I see what you are asking, but I have no solid info on it. I would like to THINK there will be a limit set in place, because even though I doubt a bot could survive in inferno, it still would be pretty easy to get a bot to make an inferno game, and waypoint somewhere (such as the graveyard) where a champion usually spawns, and farm that spot.
I hope they put in a temp ban for more than X amount of games in Y minutes =D
First, you rented an account just to play d3. Bannable offense. Then you speak about purposely using multiple ips in order to avoid being banned. Read their EULA/TOS and you will have nothing to worry about.
To answer your absurd question, Blizzard is reactive and not proactive. They will take action they deem appropriate to ban or deter people abusing the systems they have set in place.
Ie, you have nothing to worry about for some time.

Now that that is out of the way, I doubt that D3 had anything to do with your temp ban in D2. D3 is on BNet 2.0 and D2 is on the old BNet, and I'm relatively sure there's no crossover between the two because of some things Blizz reps have said in the past. The temp ban was almost certainly related to some activity in D2 which Blizzard thought looked suspicious.
