A loud majority of the player base feel that they aboslutely NEED and have a RIGHT to get all the items in the game and thus very rare items can't be any better. It seems like half of the players would be ok if they just choosed a ready gear and a build from scroll menu to be played on a groups. That's fine though, each to it's own. I like to theorycraft my builds. In my opinion, Primals should have a chance to change the build. At least they should've two enchant rolls to be useful.
Blizzard wasn't any better than the loud crowd as they first introduced the Primals with a better mainstat but nothing else. That was the most boring powercreep I had ever heard of.
found a couple of primals with 2 or more wrong rolls, thus despite being for the spec i play, normal items outclassed them (helmet with armor and resist, ring with vit, regen, allres, shoulders with wrong skill, allres and ad)
My last 10 primals were transformed into 145 forgotten souls + 1 good weapon. Most of the time you get unplayable shit like Skorn, Zumakalis, Aftef's spark, Neandertal, Telranden - the list is going on. Ahh and full set Blacktorn - that's for sure.
Even decent playable stuff is often primal trash, like witching hour with Hp/sec+armor or Frostburn with LPH and RCR) nice game design blizzard)
i wonder how people are getting their primal starfire and orb in the first 3-5 days of the season. 100% sure that seasonal drop for primals is better like we have 0.3% in NS, and season has 0.6-0.9
Season 10 - first 10 Primals weren't even for the character/class I was using.
Yeah, kinda lame how RNG it is. Should at least get them for the character/class you are using first! Doesn't even have to be for that build, but at least if you're using a Wizard have Primals a Wizard can use, not Barb's or WD, etc.
Season 11, I've gotten about 3 so far with the same issue Beat GR 70 at Paragon 450. I'm 711 now and still nothing worth using.
I am fine with it. I always thought of it as just a small extra bonus. To me, complaining about useless primals is no different than complaining about useless ancients. To be honest, it gets old. However, if I recall correctly, back in Season 2 it was pretty common to see the same conversations about ancients since it was still a new thing at the time. I'd consider it more justified back then too, since ancients actually provide significant stat increases. I think a lot of the talk about primals just comes from their rarity, not because they actually provide any major advantages.
after getting my first three primals of the season, I began to scratch my head.
All three were Puzzle rings!
I have since debunked "Primal puzzle rings give better loot".
At any rate, You guys are spoiled if you complain about "max stat gaurenteed", as it honestly shouldn't even be in the game, and if it must, make it unrepairable, like the ethereal items of old. Then those shoulders Nobody uses could have a future.
I been getting primals that I dont even use so on top of the low drop chance you get a bad item!?.... best system blizzard
not rewarding at all
Saludos

Sorry for almost a negative post.
