Rumor Mill full-speed ahead! It seems Epic Weapons acquired the Diablo III license to develop weapon replicas. It's just a speculation at this point based on an enigmatic finding. The Epic Weapons facebook added Diablo III facebook under "Likes".
The Epic Weapons facebook only links to a few facebook pages: those licenses they have developed replicas for ... and Diablo III is there? Whoa? When? How? It has not been announced at all. Not yet, that is.
The one Diablo III weapon replica that fits perfectly the term "Epic" is Archangel Tyrael's sword. DC Comics recently revealed the upcoming launch of Diablo: Sword of Justice -- a comic book about Tyrael's sword somehow having sentience. A young kid hears the calling of the sword and wields it to become the Avatar of Justice on Sanctuary.
Would you buy this licensed product if Epic Weapons really announces it?
I'd be "that guy" shadow dueling with the sword in my backyard for hours a day.. If replicas do get produced, I just hope they don't make corny sounds..

In an academic sense, hell yes! (same for the Tyrael hoodie!)
But in reality, I never have spent money on game paraphernalia. It just doesn't fit my personality. I would rather hire a blacksmith/swordsmith to build a functional version of the ceremonial sword I have/use.
I would buy it instantly, and i need my tyrael hoodie. Does anyone notice how much that scene changed from its debut in 01? I mean of course, different cinematic, but it is very different. The bright "holy" glow of the sword is gone, Tyraels wings are no longer blueish transparent, and Enormous but instead as bright white and a little less over dramatic. Just seems odd that they'd redo it completely.

I'm sure his sword, now, will look much different from that. It will probably be something much more iconic.

I actually enjoy the simple look. The weapon is strong and practical. Nothing that says its trying to demand attention but when used it gets it.
Me wants.
Well, you's cant haves. That blade was plunged into the world stone. He will likely have a new weapon.

I will be selling WD memorabilia. I figure a sunday bucket of KFC provides ten authentic chicken legs, plus the price of some feathers and glitter at hobby lobby.
The sword as shown in the cinematic might be changed in Diablo III cinematics. It looks boring, but more real life themed.
I got curious and looked up the Diablo: Sword of Justice concept art. Guess what? It doesn't look at all like in both Destruction's End cinematics (D2 / D3). Now that's more like a epic sword look.
