I'm thinking about getting Magic Circle or Trap (not like the assasin one) to Diablo 3 ? Both the mage and some enemies could place a Magic Circle or Trap in the game (for a period of time), so when players or monster walk on that area, they will get certain physical damage or magical damage.
Also, it will look nice if you see a beautiful Magic Circle on the ground.
sounds cool! i like the concept, but why not make it more diverse? how about a magic circle that when an entity walks across, they get a 10% damage buff! that way, players could use it to their advantage, or the enemies could take control and they would get the buff, that way it could work either way, sorta a gamble.

ive always like the idea of magic drawings in the ground. The spell should have a long cast time, maybe specific for events. Tyreal would be like "hold the pass, the demons will arive here soon"(maybe like the archer of the sisterhood in act one in the middle of the cobble stone wall between blood moor(i think) and cold plains and the evil javalin/joust chicks charge at you) and when he says that you get the chance to cast a "magic circle" and your character actually draws the spell. that would be cool to me i think, and then the guys would get owned by the trap

I am thinking there is a type of magic circle like gravity, which will pull monsters slowly to it. It is so great to pull them together and cast a spell to them.

Kind of reminds me of Final Fantasy for some reason.
Anyway that'd be neat. Cast it near a barbarian that is using whirlwind.

a spell call the 9 alignment of the planets in which a huge area several kilometers in diameter
to have a faint rune on the ground and sky.
it increase their allies power a hundred fold.
it was like freaking awesome 5 heroes defended against 10 lieutenant of the antagonist.

ya, i can probably think of a few animes that have this, i love the spells on the ground stuff. the seals in diablos place are cool too

By the way, if there is magic circle, I will prefer it needs some casting time and it has a number restriction like the trap skill of Assasin. I think no body want to see the magic circle is everywhere and full of the screen, hehe. Like one type of mgaic circle can only have may be max. 2 at a time. After one disappear, then you can cast a new one, etc..

Sort 2 way buff. A melee class fighting inside the circle would get nice benefits.
This could also be a nice spell for a paladin type of class if we gonna see one. A protective circle or such
