This logo could represent Tyreal or another angel decending into darkness.
Start at the top, its a holy symbol and as it goes down slowly turns into evil with a large demonic face.
Since LoD kind of leaves us with Tyreal destorying the Worldstone, we dont know much of what happened next.
In the books, we find out about Lillith, and the history of herself and the worldstone, her children's powers sealed within the stone, one could only guess that one of her children didn't want to wait for his powers to awaken and decided to corrupt tyreal and take his.
However this could take an unexpected twist and the logo could represents a demonic figure re-accending into heaven...but I doubt that.
If you've read the books, it has always been Heaven vs. Hell. But, if you actually payed attention to the books, all the humans are on their own side, fighting for sanctuary. So, if they do make a heaven vs. hell, it would be a lore destroyer. Just like WoW. -.-

The Vampire Lives Eternally. It Was Promised Eternal Death.
that means something. I think it might possibly signify that some angel/any other heaven dwelling creature gets corrupted, and allows the demons to invade.
I also believe that this will have some significance in the lore of the game itself. The flavor text obviously implies that Heaven has something to fear. Its long been the belief of both heaven and hell that man will be the deciding factor in the war between the two.
Perhaps this means that hell has gained the favor of one, or many powerful humans that could possibly sway the tide of battle. But who knows at this point, all we know for sure is that the forces of hell has some trick up their sleeve that heaven respects and fears.

i think the three stands for the hydra and the monster with 3 mouths is all primevils.
Perhaps Diablo has found some way to bring his brothers back to the realm of mortal man and hell. Maybe he has used his own body as a vessel and thus combined the three brothers into one all powerful being. This would certainly give new meaning to the term 'hydra', and it sure as shit would be something for heaven to fear. All three prime evils not only working together, but working as one?!
