I would like to see a different type of inventory space at the camps. The bag ideas are fine when you are out in the field. But when you are in the camps and storing your loot, the idea of a lock box just does not make any sense to me . What i think would be a better idea would be when you are at a low level you would have your own shack, tp, or camping tent to store items in. Then as you get high in levels your respect level goes up and you can spend gold on upgrades and build houses, and even a little castle. You should be able to have different rooms in it and have your own armory, and a trophy room as well. I mean it could be endless just like the loot in diablo series. I think this is a good idea instead of a lock box that i am sure everyone in town would be looking to get into when you go out on a adventure. Just a idea but i think it would be a kool .
I think it could be pretty cool, but generating a different home with so many features for each character online will really eat up Blizzard's online resources and when 50% of the characters online are mules it won't be all that much use. I think it's sounds cool, but it just doesn't seem practical.

Don't try to be a great man, just be a man... and let history make its own judgment. -Zefram Cochrane, Star Trek
Nah I think adopting the share stash system hellgate london has/had would be a better idea with a mixture of the world of warcraft bank system where you can upgrade it with more space would suit.
I don't like the idea of a instanced style housing system in a action rpg, it would just feel very weird, they work very well in mmorpgs and even slower paced games like these but with a fast paced game like this you would want to get back, drop your items you want to keep off and move on, slowing down the game would hamper it.
i dont like it. one thing that you have to think about is that these are warriors fighting evil. not producing a place to settle down. i feel that the bags are a very nice thing to have. and maybe have a horse that would be like a pack mule to carry your loot. cause your traveling and stuff. from town to town.
im just saying if you were a traveler what is the point in building a house? seriously! oh ya im going to be here till i defeat evil. well ill build a house. *some time in future* oh evil has gone to the east i have to go now that evil is gone. *house gets terriblely un taken care of and fades into existance* lol. im not saying pack mules or anything like that. im just saying if you were trying to think of the story or the game then i dont see it being predictable.
Well you are not fighting eveil for free. Their should be a reward for your efforts. And one house is not a home in diablo universe. Many conquerors built places to stay while they fought battles. Hell some even built cities alexandria and many more. Even the crusaders templars charge to protect the holy land . They invented the first banking system. So to me if i am going to be doing battle in a certian area for a few years as in diablo time then yes it would make sense to me to have a place to keep my things safe and secure. Then when you need to move on and fight elsewhere you either sell it or leave it to someone who help you and have them look out after it incase you need to come back.
I do not think it would take away from the game at all. Like say when you join a game each persons place would pop up on the outskirts of the camp then you could trade and show off each others stuff or place before the battle begins. I mean think about it, at first you are low level so you have to put you stuff in a one room boarding house cause you can not afford crap your a newbie then you grow from there. so many possiblities. But a better idea then mules eating up accounts. Not sure how it work with the servers but maybe in expansion or mmo if it goes that way who knows. But one thing is for certian loot makes diablo seriers great among other things but for me it is it, the look, the lore, the style , the loot, and it is just fun to smash things to holy hell, this is just another form of loot a addition to a already great game.
Dude take a chill pill I never said people stole from my chest. What i was referring to is when people get done with quests they they go and store their loot in their lock box . And prepare for what they are going to do next. wether it be mf or leveling. end of story lol. As far people stealing your loot from where you place it that would be a impossiblity. Blizzard could make only the account holder be able to move things just like they do in the old trade screen. As far as building residence in each act completely up to the player. If you just want a lock box you have it. If you rather build your character more you have it. no biggie man and no i am not trying to change anyones opion or mind about anything. was just a idea that was all idea so what is your idea d2 just newer graphics?
-Bosses and monster with a great A.I.
-Havoc physics making a important part in the gameplay.
-A uber huge database of side quests.
-A good level design, even through its random.
-More presence of the lore in the game, like we could find texts telling us new things about the world of sanctuary and it's history (those texts could also give us tips to defeat bosses, find hidden treasures or gives us new quests).

"In time the hissing of her sanity
Faded out her voice and soiled her name
And like marked pages in a diary
Everything seemed clean that is unstained
The incoherent talk of ordinary days
Why would we really need to live?
Decide what is clear and what's within a haze
What you should take and what to give" - Opeth
