Just answered your question in the previous post. It does not work with CDR. I can imagine Tal's being absolutely amazing with CDR, but they don't work together right now.

We posted at the same time ... but anyway will have my cdr for BH and molten impact metrors lol ...
Been running this build for a while and I really like it with 4 pc set tal rasha and Thunderfury (Been pretty lucky with drops) It is a melee arcane based variant, I prefer spectral blades/thrown blade as generator but it's interchangeable if ud rather have lightning or MM for a bit more range.

So Jaetch, should i use AD with my current build?
I don't use AD except for T5 and T6. It just drastically speeds up kill time for elites and Rift Guardians. On T4 and below I usually run Audacity in place of AD.
Also, Electrocute still has a speed coefficient of 2.0, meaning it's two Electrocute casts per 1 APS, which means building up AD stacks in half the time. Won't work nearly as well with other signature spells (like MM), which all have a speed coeffecient of 1 (or one spell per 1 APS).
Lightning Blast (lightning proc) builds Arcane Dynamo for Arcane Torrent (arcane proc). Sparkflint (fire proc) buffs all damage, including the Meteors. Frozen Mist (cold proc) lasts eight seconds, so the cast triggers a Comet drop and triggers a second Comet drop on expiration. LOH/passive damage from Frozen Mist are bonuses.
Usually never have to stop moving. Cast Lightning Blast (lightning proc) on stray targets that survive Arcane Orbit (arcane proc) and Moonlight Ward (i switch to this when speed running). Sparkflint (fire proc) boosts damage. Frozen Storm (cold proc) adds passive cold effect and provides an easy way to break destructibles for my Warzechian Armguards.
i was wondering with the build you're using could u solo t6 i've seen a video of you and your friend duo t6

It's exactly what I use in my T6 videos, well, at least in the latest one.
I picked up a Shard of Hate that I run along with this build, which helps when I have to use Electrocute. The proc on the Shard for charged bolt comes in handy. I havent seen the Familiar proc Freezing Skull though.
I use a Trag'oul Coils with 55 second cooldown reduction, which comes in handy for getting Archon back up especially when trying out bosses who have healing wells nearby (I'm looking at you, Adria). Might just change the rune to Pure Power just to maximize the reset.
I have four pieces (helm, chest, amulet and source), but I decided to go with a Ring of Royal Grandeur so that I could swap out the Tal Rasha source for a 10/7/9 Triumvirate.
Now, I have a couple of questions, hopefully I get them answered.
1. Does "+XX% to elemental damage" buff the meteor of that element? If so, then can we assume that the 2 piece bonus (or Triumvirate or bonuses from other equipment) stack as well? I'm second-guessing my decision to go with a different source, but it would be nice to get some advice on the matter.
2. As mentioned earlier, I run with a Shard of Hate, would a cold armor (or cold black hole) proc its effect? Would it also work for lightning armors (or lightning black holes)? The only effects I see on my screen are Charged Bolt for my Electrocute.
For Cold damage on high T levels, try using frost nova.It deals 1% weapon damage as cold, and also applies a stack from elemental exposure passive. As well, frozen enemies are always good on high difficulties
Ray of Frost - Black Ice (frost; good CC; Black Ice quickly takes out groups)
Hydra - Mammoth Hydra (fire)
Black Hole - Absolute Zero (CC and variable frost damage buff)
Storm Armor - Scramble (mobility)
Magic Weapon - Electrify (lightning; also relevant to resource generation since I have 4 APoC)
Teleport - Wormhole (mobility; John Crichton)
I'm currently running http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#iZNTSQ!YWRb!cbZYaZ and solo farming T3, but for max dps in place of mobility, I can/do run http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#iZNOSj!YWeR!cbZZac. My solo speed farming build sacrifices arcane damage meteor procs and EE damage, as well as a decent amount of crit (5% from Energy Armor - PPB and 6% from Conflagration) for Storm Armor - Scramble and Teleport/evocation mobility. At T3, white mobs melt fast enough that the trade is a good one.
Key Items
-Light of Grace (pass-through RoF)
-Azurewrath (freeze, cold bonus)
-RoRG (for reasons)
-Tal's chest, hat, belt (for similar reasons)
I would really like to be running Frostburn, Thunderfury, Tal's ammy, and Stormcrow. At the moment, I am intently trying to farm Frostburn, following which I will really want to swap my Azurewrath for a Thunderfury (I think), and when I can get a Tal's ammy, I can swap my Tal's helm for a Stormcrow.
For Cold damage on high T levels, try using frost nova.It deals 1% weapon damage as cold, and also applies a stack from elemental exposure passive. As well, frozen enemies are always good on high difficulties
Don't forget that frost armor does also give the 12% melee damage reduction.
Frost nova does sound like a good alternative though.
On PTR, I'm going with a Tals/firebird combo. Tals ammy, chest and belt. Firebirds pants, gloves, boots, shoulders, and helm. then I round out my gear with RORG, fire SOJ, Strongarm, and Mirrorball. I use TF for lightning, MM and sparkflint for fire, BH event horizion for arcane, and Blizzard frozen solid for cold.
I think I know where you guys are getting confused on the weapon damage proccing an elemental meteor of the same type via the tals set bonus. This meteor will only proc from the elemental damage on your weapon, if you do your "auto-attack" with it. Only way I know to use it, is to try to cast a spell when you can't (e.g. when the spell is on cooldown, or requires arcane power that you don't have). When you do this you'll see a very small orb fly through the air, at about the same speed as an arcane orb, just a tiny version. This can and will proc the meteor of that element; however, I've tried mixing it into my rotation, and unless your weapon happens to be your BiS with an element that you're not getting via any other way, it seems to be a waste to try and rotate it in. I presume the other gentleman was seeing the weapon's element because he plays a little key-spam happy with his spells.
