I run a spec that utilizes Heat Wave for trash and EB^4 (Wand of Woh) for elites. 3 skill slots are covered by buffs and teleport, the one I don't like is the generator. I see 3 options:
a) MM Conflag: I always read how amazing it's supposed to be and I do have a (crappy) +2 Mirrorball, but is it worth it only for a few purple mobs?
Flame blades: Awesome buff in theory, but since anything dies to the aforementioned spells, I don't see the point unless I go to a higher torment level, for which I'd need more toughness first, not more damage.
c) Electrocute Surge of Power: It's not fire, so it doesn't really fit, but I have that orb (much better rolled than my Mirrorball) which allows it to hit the same target multiple times, so the idea is to fuel WoF with this.
Currently using c) because that setup contributes most to my WoF and EB.
What do you guys think? Get a better Mirrorball and use Conflag again?
Pre-RoS I used Flame Blades for my Wand of Woh build. See thread here.
Since you're always close to mobs, SB sounds like the perfect spell anyways, plus the debuff is insanely good (especially when there are multiple enemies I get up to 80% fire damage which is INSANE). I'm a huge fan of Electrocute but imho it doesn't really make full use of a WoW build, unless you want to create some multi-elemental build with EE (Electrocute + elemental weapon + Chain Reaction + Heat Wave, for example).
What are your other items? Can you link your character, so I can even get more upset to see a level 70 WoW? ;-) Congratz, btw. I spent close to 4k shards on weapons to find a WoW (didn't get a single legendary from gambling yet after 5900 shards, meh).
I personally am very greedy and want not only WoW, but also MW, to go with an Arcane EB. But I haven't actually thought about using Elemental Exposure to go multi-elemental, why not.
I would've done the same. Almost 3000 LoH - that's a lot. And WoF actually has quite good proc coefficients, given that it hits ~10 enemies at a time it helps a lot to recover life. In the long run I'm sure you'll be happy about this choice ;-)
Realizing that you must have a lot of LoH now, Fire Bolts might be another option - its proc coefficient is quite high as well.
