I've jumped the gun a bit on this build altho i still think it will work out at lvl 70 its pretty crap right now i'd ignore it untill i can confirm the dmg increase at lvl 70
Currently using this build and running Torment 6 somewhat smoothly i'm sure guys with crazy gear can probably get more out of this or tweak it to perfection but heres the rough in of it i've come up with so far
RMB - Magic Missle - charged blast
LMB - Blizzard - unrelenting storm
1 - Teleport - Reversal
2 - Hydra - Mammoth Hydra
3 - Magic Weapon - force weapon
4 - Storm Armor - Power of the Storm
Current passives -
Glass Cannon
Prodigy
Cold Blooded
How it Plays so far :
Using Magic Missle as a filler to keep arcane power up to spam blizzard creating a path inline with you and dropping the hydra between the mobs and you for the fire wall use teleport either to keeps stuff on your flame/frost trail or use defensivly to escape bull charges jailor arcane orbs or anything else u need to run from. Build uses all 4 schools of magic.
at lvl 70 plan is to use the new passive Elemental Exposure to make max use of all 4 schools of magic
I call this build THE ELEMENTILIST have fun with it i find this build really makes the wizard char feel like a wizard
Currently attempting to steam it at twitch.tv/fainflinnn but my cpu really built for streaming so its bogging me down a bit and i probably wont stay on it long. If ya have any questions hit me up in game fainflinn#1122
Being honest, this build is ...less than optimal. There's no call for power of the storm. You'd be better served with something more defensive , or shocking aspect or frozen storm.
Alternatively, you can keep PotS and change MM for something like Rof with the -arcane power cost rune and collect straight cold damage items for a large dps buff. Right now, you only want to focus on one element, unless your lucky enough to find the tal's set. Then multielement builds may competitive; but you really need the tal's to fuel it.
I don't get it. You are using two non-stackable support damage spells (Hydra and Blizzard). Those aren't "spammable". Power of the Storm and Prodigy indicate that you have high AP usage, but there's nothing in your build that requires AP at all. There's also no defensive ability that makes this build work on Torment 6. I fail to see how you 1) survive on T3+ and even 2) kill anything on any Torment level. You lack a main damage spell. Maybe you have insane gear? But still, I can't imagine how this would work...
